This ground floor property has lots of style points! Great location close to restaurants, bars, shopping. Property was clean, but could use some maintenance. Loose railing up to the loft was a little scary. The loft bedrooms were cool, even with ceilings less than 5 feet tall. Really fun stay, but not for folks with physical disabilities or needing accommodations.
Trastevere is a good area to stay in Rome, and this apartment is well situated, making many attractions easily walkable. Guests should be very comfortable with stairs and low ceilings in the loft bed areas, which are approximately four feet high. The older door locks were also somewhat difficult to navigate. Mixed reviews on the comfort of the beds and the overall cleanliness could have been improved.
Amazing location, close to everything. The apartment had everything we needed. The host was most helpful in arranging car service from the airport and to the port. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
Our stay at the loft was great. Perfect location for getting around Rome, and the Trastevere neighborhood was charming and vibrant. Patrick was a great communicator, and accommodating to allow us to drop off our bags prior to check-in.
Amazing location, in the heart of Trastevere but still quiet. Very nice apartment - cute functional kitchen. Bathrooms could use a facelift. But excellent stay.
The property was in a perfect location for food and tours. Property owners east to work with & were outstanding with the check in checkout process. Can’t wait to return.
Pick this apartment for an outstanding authentic experience in Rome. We love the winding alleys of Trastevere and this rental was right in the heart of it, nearby multiple eating and drinking establishments. Can’t wait to return!
It’s a wonderful beautiful place! We absolutely loved it. The ceiling in second loft is very low, but we are only 5’ so it was ok, but be careful. Also be careful on front loft, railing is a little rickety.
Great location for homebase. We were only there for 24 hours, but the neighborhood is a beautiful part of Rome and has a truly unique personality. Excellent restaurants, shops, cafes and sights are all within short walking distance.
The apartment is adorable, with dishes and everything you need, in the perfect walkable area to shops and dining. Neighborhood is so cute. The host is very responsive and accommodating. Very positive experience and I give it 5 starts. The only thing I will say, as a 60 year old and is nothing against the unit, location or host is that the neighborhood is lively so it's a little loud at night and there are stairs up to the beds so navigating that at night to use the restroom is not ideal. But that's a me issue or older guest.
This apartment was very cute and spacious, and surprisingly quiet. We loved Trastevere, it is a quaint town. Check in process was timely and in person, and she gave us a tour of the apartment. The only thing that I would give less than 4 or 5 stars for was the cleanliness of the bathrooms. The shower did not drain and there is black mold on the caulk around bottom of the shower and on floor grout. We were only there 2 nights so I did not make a big deal about it. The rest of the apartment was clean.
We LOVE staying in Trastevere and this apartment was a great home base during our stay. Central, had all the amenities we needed, and room for our family to spread out. I knew the ceilings were low from reviews and the photos but it was quite precarious navigating the stairs and low ceilings for late night bathroom trips! Otherwise, a great stay.
The apartment is in an excellent location, lots of great restaurants and shops. There is quite a bit of space, even for 4 adults but the bathrooms are very small. Our only comment is that it may not be suitable for 60 (like us) as the loft bedrooms are accessible by ladder and steep stairs. It is not possible to bring suitcases into the lofts, so they must be stored elsewhere in the apartment. Overall though, it was a good stay.
This place was perfect for our visit with our daughter who is in Rome for her semester abroad! Love Trastevere! The flat was clean and spacious. The host was very communicative and accommodating- letting us check in early as we landed from the US in the early AM. Bonus for me was access to diffuser hair dryer- curly hair!
We enjoyed our stay. Check in was super easy and the place was spacious for Rome. The place was as pictured. There was a minor plumbing issue and the showers could have used a good scrub. Otherwise, it was perfect for our needs. Perfect location.
We stayed at this apartment in Trastevere for one night during our trip to Italy. It is in the perfect location! The restaurants and piazzas are all very close walking distance. The apartment itself had everything we need. There are two bathrooms and two beds to easily accommodate 4 people. The host was very responsive and was flexible to help us get checked in during our late arrival. Anyone looking to stay in the heart of Trastevere should consider it a lucky advantage to stay at this apartment!
Leopard 28-Loft in Trastevere, was a fantastic location to experience Rome. It is within a leisurely walk (35 min to St. Peters, 50 min to the Colosseum, 25 min to the Pantheon---if you walk quickly, time would be less) of many main attractions. In the late afternoon, sidewalk restaurants come to life which are right around each corner. Evenings are active with friends and family gathering in this neighborhood. Patrick responded quickly. His Mom met us and demonstrated clearly how to use the keys. He kindly allowed us to leave our luggage since our last tour was 2 hours beyond check out. Pictures are accuratewith a little, as to be expected, wear.
