Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was as outlined by the owner and was ready for our arrival. The location was great with quaint shops, excellent food within walking distance, and the beach right across the street. We enjoyed our stay and will visit again! I would recommend the front loading washing machine get a good cleaning. If the guests don’t leave the door open after running a wash cycle, mold develops.

Great stay. Love the location. Kitchen was well stocked. We didn’t need it, but air conditioning in the bedroom is priceless during the hottest times of the year. We also appreciated being able to check in early. Of course always subject to availability. Only recommendation is improving the bed. It is a bit rickety and not loving the foam that is on top of the mattress. Maybe a better quality pillow mattress cover?

Maui Time!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Maui Banyan! Everything was super clean, easy access and a VERY relaxing complex! The check in and check out were simple and most importantly the bed was comfortable and the hot tub fantastic! We will stay here again next year!

Mahalo for a wonderful first time visit to Maui!

Condo was beautiful and had everything we needed. Nice and quiet at the end of the complex. Beach was a 5 min walk away, and great food was a 10 min walk. Great location near shopping. Property manager was just a phone call away if we needed anything. Would highly recommend this unit!

Stress Free Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I really appreciate all the thought that went into ensuring the condo was prepared for our family. Everything was clearly represented in the description, and there was a lot of care taken in the days leading up to our stay to ensure I understood how to check in, how to park, and also just routine check in to assure everything was going well. When I had a small issue with accessing the pool I got a response within 5 minutes even though it was after hours. The place was totally clean and equipped with shampoo, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, lots of beach, equipment, and beach towels. The common areas were beautiful, well-maintained and clean. Condo was super close to the beach (right across the street and perfect for kids) and within walking distance of restaurants. We were a family horror with two tweens staying with us. It was the perfect layout. And we would totally stay here again.

Beautiful condo, great location

My family stayed here for a week and had an amazing experience. The condo is completely updated, bright, modern, quiet and calming. The grounds are beautiful and the vibe is friendly. Steps from the beach made it possible to take walks, swim, surf, and enjoy sunsets at a moments notice. The condo has all the amenities for cooking. When we didn't feel like cooking, we enjoyed the restaurants and shopping which are within walking distance. I already miss the morning walk along the beach for coffee and a smoothie. Would highly recommend this place. We will be back.

Comfortable and bright

This one bedroom condo had all we needed to enjoy our vacation. It was well appointed with enough kitchen amenities to easily make meals when we wanted to stay in. The bbqs on site worked well and were clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool immensely. Beach time was lovely with the supplied chairs, towels, and umbrella. Just a note to keep food items in the fridge as we did have the occasional creepy crawly visiting which isn’t unexpected in the climate. The building was fairly quiet and the location was good with a little shopping and restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay there again.

Cleanliness

The location, pool area and landscaping were fantastic. We just found the cleanliness in unit itself was lacking. Along the baseboards were dead bugs, dust very visible on upper cabinet doors, vanity lights, large LR mirror, sticky food in cutlery tray and on blender., dust on shower door, and filthy build up on the wall and window ledge around the AC. We assumed the unit had been vacant for some time and warranted a significant cleaning.

Dishonest representation of property

I am partially handicapped and although I have stayed at the Maui banyan before (14 times) I have never stayed in T building. I asked whether the T building had an elevator and in a text I was told "yes it does". I booked my trip based on that information. T building does not have an elevator!!!! I can function relatively ok on level ground but stairs are extremely difficult. I have talked to Sunny Maui Vacations and all they said was "sorry". Well that doesn't help. Maui was as nice as ever but I would say to anyone booking thru Sunny Maui Vacations to pay attention and not take them at their word.

Perfect condo

This was the first time we’ve stayed in the T building which is at the back of the Maui banyan property. It was great. The condo has a beautiful veil of palm trees in front of the lanai so very private. We were just steps from the upper pool that had new and very well cared for Weber bbqs. Grounds well manicured and Parking was very convenient. Every morning at 545 and evening at 545 a huge choir of birds would sign loudly for at least 15 min straight. We loved it. Other than the birdsong the location was super quiet. Location to 3 great beaches as well as shopping and restaurants can’t be beat. The unit itself was bright, clean and well stocked. Having two bathrooms was a big plus for us. The bed was comfortable. if we had any neg comments at all is that the frame/headboard was creaky and the mattress wasn’t too forgiving of your partner’s movements. Having said that though, we slept well every night. The unit had AC and ceiling fans. Used the fans mostly but did use the AC when necessary. Also felt safe enough to open the sliding glass door and use the screen to let in the cool night breezes. Also being on the second floor it was easy to bring groceries up etc. Last but not least the condo was managed by Sunny Maui Condos who looked after any of our questions or requests immediately. We hope this condo is available next time we are looking for a one bdrm two bath unit.

This condo was adequate. Overall it had a feel of dinginess, however. Could us some fresh paint, new pillows, sweep/mop floors a bit better. The bathroom mirror is scratched so that it always blurry. The closet is so full you can’t hang your clothes.

Another wonderful stay in paradise!

The unit was exactly what we expected. Great proximity to the beach, plenty of space for two people and several dining options within easy walking distance. The kitchen is well stocked with a wide variety of plates, pots, pans and more. Building T is the last building in the complex which resulted in a longer walk to the beach. Additionally, this building does not have an elevator. For two older people these were minor issues. Sunny Maui Vacations was amazing! Each time we had a request they responded quickly and with new items. We were very happy! Mahalo!

Paradise days

the grounds are very well kept surrounded with beautiful flowers. Our Unit right at back of property was perfect for the two of us with two bathrooms and very well appointed. The lanai was very private and well shaded with beautiful palm trees. We used the Weber bbq one evening which was very clean. The security guards always very friendly and helpful. The reason I only gave a 4 1/2 star is because after a long day of hiking we wanted to take a swim since the pool was close by only to find it had turned GREEN. Not a good look. We usually swam in the ocean. Also lots of fun places to walk for food and drink. Thank you. Would definitely return to this complex. Robin Theroux

Clean, Quiet, and Cozy

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This particular unit was tastefully remodeled, And in a great location in South Kihei. The apartment was stocked with beach chairs, an umbrella, snorkel gear for four (no fins but not a big deal) and even a couple of decent boogie boards to take to the beach which I highly recommend. This condo is ideal for a couple, but with the pull out couch you could squeeze two small children in, depending on how well they sleep together. The pleasant surprise is that this condo has two bathrooms – the one in the master has a full bath and the one off the kitchen has a full shower, so that was definitely a bonus. The unit is located in the building at the back of the property. Which for some has pros and cons. If I had kids with me, I might want to be in the unit closer to the beach for a shorter walk, but without kids I would recommend this building for its seclusion and quiet. The property managers were quick to reply to any questions I had and promptly replaced the coffee maker when I accidentally cracked the glass carafe. They did everything to make sure my stay was a good one, so I would highly recommend not only this condo, but the property management team that handled it.

Tucked away paradise!

Normally it takes one trip to find the exact spot where you want to stay – not this time . This condo was perfect – tastefully decorated with everything we needed for the beach. Back building on the property is quiet and less crowded. This is the perfect apartment for A couple. A tight squeeze for a family but doable, especially with two full baths. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great location!

Great location, walking distance to many restaurants in the area. Also right across from the beach. Condo has been remodeled, in the very last building, in the back. Deck was private, but small, a little dark, but cozy. The fan in the living room didn’t work on command, however my husband was able to fix it!
