We have thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights in the Chalet at Seagulls. There was everything we need, great access to fabulous food places in Rock and Padstow and very peaceful!
Our 3-night stay at the Chalet at the Sea Gulls was fantastic. Great location, clean and tidy, and very peaceful. Walking distance to the beach with convenient parking. Highly recommend!
The chalet has everything you would want for a home away from home. Exceptionally clean and tidy with a beautiful view. Would highly recommend and hope to return before too long. A guaranteed parking space also removed some stress!
Great view. Private. Comfortable bed. Excellent shower. Lovely peaceful garden space to enjoy. Host was friendly and helpful. Easy to walk to ferry and cafes at low tide. Highly recommended
This is a wooden chalet built into the garden of a larger house in Porthilly, near Rock. It has a large, comfortable living/kitchen area with views over the estuary towards Padstow. The bedroom is small and a bit weird, but the bed was very comfy. The shower and toilet are separate and both worked fine (infinity mirrors in the loo were fun!) There are lots of really thoughtful additions - hooks, rails, blinds, lamps, lots of power sockets etc etc. The owners have really tried to think about what the guest will need. The wifi worked well. The TV reception was patchy. It feels very private. There is a parking space for one car just outside. Location wise, it's down little country lanes off the main road through Rock. We didn't go out walking, but it's an easy drive to the few shops in Rock (with a general store and a great fish and chip shop), and the big car park where you can catch the passenger ferry over to lovely Padstow. We stayed for several days to play golf courses in the area and it worked fine and was a lovely place to be.
Very cosy and stylish chalet with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is superb with wonderful sea views and just a short couple of minutes walk to the beach. I stayed when there were no guests to the larger property on the same site so I had the garden to myself, privacy could be compromised a little when the big house is being used. But there is a separate little garden area for the chalet which would still provide some seclusion.
