About this property
Trail View - Stunning Cottage -Log Burner- High Peak Trail/Peak District
Trail View is a beautiful detached converted cottage situated to the left of our courtyard setting with views across the open countryside and the High Peak Trail. The ideal cottage for families, or couples who want that bit more space. The cottage is on a single level, and has a private lawn and patio area to the rear of the property, perfect for watching the sun set and enjoy the surrounding views during the summer months.
Enter the cottage through the main door at the end of the cottage into the modern oak beamed kitchen with all modern appliances. Onto the spacious lounge with a large and smaller window with views out into the courtyard. Down the hallway the family bathroom with bath, WC, sink unit, heated towel rail a mirror. A little further and we have the twin bedroom with two single beds, wardrobe, drawers and bedside cabinet. Finally, at the end of the hallway is the main double bedroom with one double bed, wardrobe, drawers and bedside cabinet along with en-suite with shower, WC and sink unit.
Explore the outdoors....we have our own direct access onto the High Peak Trail, perfect for those who love walking or cycling (bring your own bike and store in our secure cycle storage). Enjoy the surrounding Peak District - the stunning Chatsworth House is just a 25 minute drive away, Haddon Hall just 20 minutes. Visit the picturesque villages of Monyash, Youlgrave and Hartington on your way home or enjoy a walk around the nearby Carsington Water. Prefer something a little more adventurous? Travel a little further and visit Alton Towers, just 40 minutes away.
We are located centrally to the nearby towns of Matlock, Bakewell, Ashbourne and Buxton - all just a 20-25 minute drive away. All these towns have the major supermarkets along with their own unique shops.
Unfortunately, we do not accept pets in our cottage. And another thing to note is that we close over the festive period each year. For 2024 we have introduced a 24volt EV Charger-Free for a 3/4/7 night stay. Please bear in mind there is no hot tub at this property.
