There were no surprises relative to our expectations. Located in the better part of VB to stay - quiet - and great and easy access to the water and First Landing Park.Beach cottage look and feel. Back to to the '80's.

A great stay

The place was cute and clean. It has a backyard which is nice for the kids. Overall it was a great place and so close to a cute little beach that was semi private.

A wonderful beach house

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this beach house! The location was fantastic with the beach just a short walk away. We also appreciated the outdoor shower. We would stay here again.

Our third year staying in The Cottage was delightful. There's something for everyone: Beach, woods, and good food nearby. The location is perfect for visiting our local family who live off of Great Neck.If you're looking for a no frills, simple, quiet place to stay on the Chesapeake Bay, this is your spot. All the charm of a beach cottage; none of the fuss of fancy resorts.

What a great place to stay!

Such a cute little house! Loads of beach towels, great pans and utensils in the kitchen, and just a great space. We loved how close to the beach it is, and easy driving access to all of our activities. It was the perfect place for our family.

Great Location

I really liked the location, not only a short walk to beach but also grocery store; AND the walking path to state park that was great. The cottage was as stated, a Vintage Cottage, but we liked it!
