What a perfect location for our family vacation of 13! The spot on the beach was excellent, there was plenty of room for us all, and the check in and communication was great!Every morning we watched the dolphins from the window, and the kids spent most of the day in the water. The house is so close to the water which is priceless.Excellent restaurants in IOP, and it’s close to Charleston which makes this an excellent choice.Our vacation was beyond perfect and this spot was the best fit!

Amazing experience for extended family reunion for 3 sisters currently living in 3 different estates. Elevator was a godsend so my father felt comfortable going in/out and kids loved the steps-to-the-beach location. IOP is family friendly and we felt safe and comfortable. Easily drive to Charleston and Folly beach for restaurants and spent the days soaking in the sun and playing family games in the expansive living room . So glad we were able to spend this time together!

Fabulous place for our large family to hang out on the beach, relax, walk, talk, and play! We love the way the layout has one master to use on the lower level, and several bedrooms and baths upstairs. The bunk room was so great for our little grands to have both play time and rest. There was room enough to spread out or come together! Our host was FABULOUS! Any questions, and she was very responsive.

Great Week in Isle of Palms

We had a great time on our vacation! We loved the large table in the kitchen for big group meals, and the screened-in porch for evening games. The house was so close to the beach that it was simple to take things down to get set up and pop back up for a snack. The couches by the big window were a big hit for morning reading or after beach naps. We just loved the house!

Family vacay

Enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home. The views are fantastic. Having the chairs and beach toys available was an added plus. The house is so close to everything and having the golf cart was very convenient for quick trips to Sea Biscuit restaurant. There was plenty of room for our group.

Wedding at the beach

We had a wonderful stay in IOP and this house was perfect for our families to relax and recharge. The house is well stocked and it was an extra bonus to have the golf cart! The views are beautiful and it’s a great location. Susan was also very helpful throughout the booking process and during our stay. I would definitely recommend a stay here for families and friends!

We had a great stay at this house… it’s a little quirky but in a comfortable and comforting way - old school. The proximity to the beach is unbeatable, a Harris Teeter a mile away, easy drive to downtown Charleston. We loved the big giant dining table, and the comfy couches. Very handy having two fridges, and there was plenty of hot water, good water pressure.

We loved our stay in this Isle of Palms house. The location is fantastic. Right on the beach, so the kids could happily pop down in their jammies first thing in the morning and we could easily end our days back on the beach after dinner. Susan works hard to make sure renters understand that it is not a new home with granite and glass. Yes, there may be a little bit of paint peeling in the bathrooms, and scratches on the furniture, but that was fine with us since we had five children in our group. She has worked hard to make it very comfortable for families. Lots of dishes and utensils, a large pile of extra towels (including smaller beach towels), a full complement of beach chairs, sand toys, and life jackets--in short, everything you need for a great beach week. In addition, instead of throwing out the left-behind spices, oil, sugar, coffee, etc., these goods stay in the cupboards for the next renters, which is much appreciated.I didn't anticipate using the pool down the road or the golf cart, but we ended up using and enjoying both.Everyone in our family agreed that we would be delighted to return to this house next year.
