We stayed here to see family and it was perfect. Shops very close by, and the house was clean lots of room. Very good communication with Ian. Will def stay again
This place was really nice and very clean. Everything was well signed and we really enjoyed our stay. Very happy with the Experiance and maybe book again in the future. Thank you for a great pleasant stay.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Disliked: Location
Everything OK apart from area--lot of litter in streets. My wife and I are aged 76 and found the staircase a bit difficult. There is only half a bannister rail on one side and steps were a bit steep. Suggest another rail on opposite side of staircase would be a good idea.

Shocked disheartened and totally surprised at being given a 3 star rating which is the lowest rating we have ever received in six years of hosting in any platform
We do not advertise for people with disabilities as it is not a bungalow but the stairs are far from steep as they are standard for a two storey house with adequate bannister I have never seen a property yet that has a bannister on both sides of stairs we have never had an issue of stairs being steep before and find that statement dumbfounding and to devalue our rating on the stairs and litter on the streets outside seems totally unfair we have always maintained our property to the highest standard as previous reviews show and all reviews on other reputable sites show.
Our stay here was great, check in was easy. The house was lovely, modern and clean. All essentials, everything you need for a few days. Fully equipped kitchen, not that we cooked 😉 Bars and restaurants, a 15 min walk away.
10 mins drive to Walney Island, lovely walks and loads of wildlife.
15 mins drive from South Lakes Safari Park.
Loads of things we didn't get round to doing, we'll be back 👍
Thanks for a stress free stay.
The property was in a suitable for us as we were attending a wedding nearby. However, there are a couple of steps at the top of the stairs which the older family members found to be a hazard. Otherwise, a good choice for a short stay.
A lovely stay in this clean, spacious and exellently equipped house. Easy to book and correspond with owner, with everything we needed. Also well situated to visit local beauty spots within a short drive.
We spent 3 nights (Thurs to Sunday) staying in this lovely town house. It's very well equipped and comfortable. Really good size family bathroom with a bath and an excellent over bath shower.
The whole house was clean. The kitchen has everything you need for a self catering holiday although there's plenty of places to eat out or get in through Just eat.
The property has a lovely secure decked area at the rear which was great for the kuds and the dog.
The stairs are a little steep but there's a handrail.
This is a great place to use as a base for exploring or just to chill out in a change of scenery. There's a fabulous park about 12 minutes walk away which was a big hit with the kids and the dog. There's plenty of wildlife to see there too.
We'll definitely be returning.
We really enjoyed our stay at this place. The house beautifully done up and organised. It was also more spacious than we imagined which was a pleasant surprise.
Thank you
