Maison Les Terrasses is a timber villa inspired by old tobacco drying sheds — a design unique to the region. 140 m², 4 air-conditioned bedrooms (1 master suite on the ground floor + 3 bedrooms upstairs), 3 shower rooms, large 60 m² living room/kitchen opening onto a 140 m² terrace. Private garden of 2,500 m² bordered by century-old oak trees, with views stretching as far as Biron Castle.

The swimming pool:
The swimming pool (4 × 9 m) is heated and secure — accessible from June and still pleasant in September. The large terraces around it allow you to have lunch in the shade or sunbathe depending on the time of day. A hiking trail starts directly from the property.

Peaceful and Tranquil

We had two weeks at this lovely property in June and particulary enjoyed the swimming pool. Unfortunately one of our party was ill but the housekeeper. Leontine, was very helpful in advising us about medical treatment and directions to the hospital. We would recommend this house as it is close to many amenities and restaurants yet very quiet.

Wonderful Holiday!

Just spent a week in this lovely house. Beautiful garden and pool area, very quiet but close to amenities. Host, Herve, was in touch throughout. A fantastic app sent to us by email let us know directions to the property, what we did and did not need to bring, about arrival procedure, recycling and how everything worked etc, etc. Also lots of info about places to eat locally. Immaculately clean throughout, the property was furnished and decorated to a high standard and had everything we needed. A true home from home. Thank you!

Nous avons tous beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à Dévillac dans la maison des terrasses. Un très bon accueil, une maison très bien entretenue, où les adultes comme les ados ont pu mener leurs vies sans se marcher sur les pieds et se retrouver pour l'apéro sur la terrasse ou le soir autour du barbecue. Idéal !

We fell in love with this corner of southwest France the moment we discovered it. After years in Normandy, we chose to settle here — drawn by the gentleness of the landscape, the warmth of the people, and a way of life that feels increasingly rare.
This wooden house, inspired by the old tobacco drying sheds of the Lot-et-Garonne, reflects everything we love about the region: quiet authenticity, unhurried days, and beauty in the everyday. We come here with our family as often as we can. We're happy to share it with you.

What makes this property unique

Three things set Les Terrasses apart from most holiday rentals in the area.
The architecture. The house is built in wood, inspired by the tobacco drying sheds that shaped this landscape for centuries. There is nothing quite like it in the region — warm in winter, cool in summer, and immediately unlike anywhere you've stayed before.
The heated pool. Not just a pool — a heated pool, accessible from June through September, surrounded by 140 m² of terrace and a 2,500 m² private garden bordered by old oak trees. The kind of setup where days disappear without effort.
The view. On a clear day, you can see Château de Biron from the garden. One of the great medieval fortresses of the Périgord, right there on the horizon. No extra charge.
Everything is included — made beds, linen, pool towels, end-of-stay cleaning. No surprises on arrival, no extras on departure. Just the house, the pool, and the Périgord.
