Located in the small and picturesque village of Worlington, which gives easy access to Thetford Forest, Newmarket, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds and slightly further afield Norwich which is 44 miles away. it’s ideally placed to make the most of your time away in West Suffolk. The Norfolk and Suffolk coasts can also be reached in just over an hour’s drive. There is an open-plan kitchen/dining/living area and contemporary furnishings throughout the property and it is fully equipped with everything needed for your perfect break away. The owner also offers dressing gowns, disposable slippers, toiletries and a generous welcome pack. The garden wraps around the property and has a patio area with outdoor furniture perfect for al-fresco dining. The six seater hot tub with its star gazer canopy is perfect for relaxing in after a day out exploring the sights. There is also a kennel outside for dogs.
Thetford Forest is a short drive away and encompasses some 47,000 acres of forestry. Here you’ll find great walks, cycle routes and nature trails to explore. It is also home to High Lodge and Go Ape. Take the time to visit the picturesque town of Bury St Edmunds with its famous abbey and great places to eat, drink and shop. The town also hosts a popular Christmas market in early December. National Trust properties nearby include Ickworth Park, Oxburgh Hall and Anglesey Abbey and Gardens. Newmarket is perfect for an exciting day at the races. The historical university city of Cambridge, and Ely with its 12th century cathedral are both worth a visit. Golf is available locally. Shop 1¾ miles, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
