The Ty Bach Cottage is a self contained unit comprising Double or Twin Bedroom with Lounge/ Kitchen Diner which can be furnished with an extra fold-up bed. It has a bathroom with hydromassage shower cubicle, standard bath , basin and Toilet. Private parking is at your private front door entrance. It is marketed as a self catering unit , breakfast is not included. Llety Pant Teg B and B is a family run Bed and Breakfast set in the leafy village of Tregarth on the outskirts of Bangor between Bethesda and Llanberis. Just down the road from Zipworld Velocity.
Next to Capel Shiloh Methodist church this 150 year old building has been the residence of many famous preachers — the most iconic being E Tegla Davies an author of many welsh books.
More recently the house was the setting for the popular S4C television series Porc Peis Bach where the house was called Cranslow and the home of a fictitious preacher and family. Today the manse has been completely upgraded and tastefully renovated keeping many original features.
The most striking feature is the original stonework which (strangely) has always been rendered in a stucco or pebble dashed finish. We decided to hack it back to the stone, sand blast and re-point which gives a timeless traditional look, which this fantastic building deserves.
Home to Bryan and family expect a home grown welsh family welcome.

Great accommodation and friendly welcome!
We stayed for two nights in the adjoining annex. The bed was huge and comfy, the kitchen area was well equipped and the bathroom was beautiful. Definitely good value for money. We stayed to go to Zip world which was just up the road and the locally recommended pub we to for dinner was great too.

Warm welcome.
A good location for our overnight stay en route to Holyhead. Lovely cottage, with welcome tea and coffee provisions. Good advice from the host regarding a walk down the cycle path to Bethesda for an evening meal in Y Llangollen. Great little stop ver. Would use again for short breaks in north Wales.

Stayed one night as very convenient for the Zip wire at Zip World Bethesda. Owner recommended local pub for evening meal. Breakfast was offered for an extra charge but was not required by us on this occasion however a nice option.

Sympathetic conversion makes for lovely let
Greeted by the owner (even if arriving slightly before the designated check in... but they had already been in touch on the day to begin the welcome process) before going on to find a delightful annex at the rear of the main property; underfloor heating just one of the features that states the quality of the refurbishment, along with a power shower of infinite possibilities.
