Comfortable base for london holiday

Comfortable apartment & a very relaxing base for exploring London. Well equipped kitchen incl dishwasher, washing machine & great bedrooms. Kitchen could do with a few more basics, like tea towels & chopping board & even salt n pepper. Some things in disrepair: broken kitchen cupboard & ironing board- both quite annoying, but easily fixed. Nice neigbourhood to explore w lovely tearoom, nice streets & great pubs. Walking access to various underground stations, though the very close station Olympia, doesn't have the best connections. Check in process could've been easier but host was helpful and attentive. Overall a great place to stay.

Good foundation but not clean

The flat itself was good, and nice and warm. Pretty well located. Communication was ok. The place needed a proper cleaning and some maintenance, however. There was stained bedding, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, a broken radiator, and the shower didn’t drain well. The one thing I really appreciated however was that when I asked if a travel cot could be arranged they brought one right away. This made a big difference.

Pas très propre, pas bien entretenu, pas super bien situé

Réservé en juin pour décembre 2022, j'ai reçu une confirmation suite à ma réservation sur Abritel, puis plus rien. A 2-3 semaines du séjour, je trouve le contact téléphonique non sans difficulté. L'agent me dit ne pas trouver ma réservation. Ca dure 10 minutes. Il finit par trouver (ouf). Il m'envoie un lien pour payer la totalité du règlement et me dit de rappeler 24h avant pour convenir d'une heure d'arrivée. A l'arrivée à l'heure convenu, un employé me rejoint dans les 10 min pour nous donner les clés et visiter le logement. Le quartier est calme, on se sent en sécurité. Ca se trouve à côté de l'Olympia, actuellement en travaux donc pas de bruit. Il y a un tesco pas loin pour faire quelques courses. Attention, il n'y a pas grand chose pour cuisiner dans l'appartement (vaisselle, plat) et le four ne fonctionne quasiment pas. La résidence est propre et calme. Le logement est suffisamment spacieux mais pas très propre (tâches sur le fauteuil, les draps, les couvertures) et pas très bien entretenu (table rayée, chaises abîmées,...). Bref, ça fait l'affaire car en visite à Londres, nous n'avons passé que peu de temps dans le logement mais vu le prix, on s'attendait à mieux.

This flat is a long way from the city and way overpriced.

Nice enough unit but a long way by train from the center of the city. Cheap and flimsy furnishing didn’t help. Way overpriced for the product being delivered.

Great apartment in a great location

This is a very nice apartment in a great location. Very walkable and close to several tube stops, and will be even more convenient when Olympia Station is operating fully, as it is right across the street. Our family of 4, including 2 teenagers, were very comfortable even when their grandfather visited for a few days. Our only complaint was that the WiFi signal was not strong thought the entire apartment but otherwise everything was great!

Nice location

This apartment was in a nice location and had a convenience store at the bottom of the stairs, a chicken wing place across the street, and a great local pub just a few steps away. We enjoyed our time, but there were a few issues that cause me to rate a 4, but they are all fixable, I believe. The Olympia Kensington underground is not operational during the week, so one has to plan for that. The host did not leave any stock at all in the house - just a few things like salt and pepper would be helpful. There were not any tea towels or the like to clean up messes in the kitchen. And it could use another hair dryer as I did not see one and found our afterwards that it was in the other room. The washing machine and dryer were not working when we got there, but only found out after I ruined a load of clothing. That all being said, the manger was great and tried to help with the washer and dryer to the best of his abilities. And the check-in and check-out process was great.

Property is in a great location and easy to get to. Didn't know that construction was on going in Olympia, but that wasn't an issue since we were out and about during the day. Check in was a little cryptic and not forth coming until arrival, which was not helpful after an early arriving international flight and a crowded tube ride into the city. Would have been nice to have all info in advance.

Spacious and clean.

My husband and I traveled with our two adult daughters, and the layout was perfect for us. There were train stations within walking distance and nice options for restaurants in the area.

Améliorations à apporter au logement

Accueil rapide, code wifi non transmis (très mauvaise connexion ensuite voir impossible), aucune information sur le recyclage et l' élimination des poubelles, plats dans le four sales, pas de torchon ni cafetière et poêles usagers, vaisselle succincte (pas de dessous de plat, saladier...), rien pour nettoyer les sols alors qu'on reste 1 semaine. Par contre chambre et literie très confortable, logement bien chauffée, situé proche des transports et des commerces
