Stylishly furnished throughout, Twitchers Cottage boasts stunning views of the Titchwell coastline, always a very popular spot for birdwatchers. For chillier winter evenings there is a wood burning stove to cosy up in front of, and on long summer days a delightful patio garden provides peaceful panoramic views over the fields and marshes towards the sea.
This pretty coastal cottage, built in 1897, is open-plan on the ground floor and has a well-equipped kitchen with integrated appliances - ideal for getting creative with local produce sold all around here. From the sitting room there's a large telescope so you can watch the wildlife from the patio doors. With two king-size bedrooms and a twin bedroom it is comfortable and well-furnished to guarantee a good nights sleep after all that fresh sea air. There are two shower rooms and a utility room, so handy for everyone. Set over three floors the elevated views gives spectacular views across the fields to the surrounding countryside and coast. You may be lucky enough to see deer grazing, and you're almost guaranteed to see and hear the vast skeins of geese flying over during the autumn and winter - a sight to make you smile for sure.
With a cosy wood burning stove, lovely Nespresso coffee machine and a telescope for guest's use, you hardly have to leave the property to enjoy the surrounding area. But when you want to venture out you are spoilt for choice of beaches, walks, eateries and other attractions in close proximity. There is the added advantage of off-road parking for three vehicles at Twitchers Cottage. Close to The Wash estuary and the RSPB reserve, Titchwell is a very popular area for wildlife enthusiasts throughout the year, but especially during spring and autumn migration, and to see the spectacular winter geese and wader phenomenon at nearby Snettisham RSPB reserve.

Perfect
Our stay was fabulous. Situated on Titchwell marshes, the cottage has a gorgeous view of the marshes and to the sea. The beach is reached by walking through marshland brimming with wildlife which emerges from the sand dunes onto golden sands. From the cottage you can see Titchwell Creak where seals bask every day. We had such peaceful week. Thank you.

Twitchers Cottage - perfect base for a break to North Norfolk.
Twitchers Cottage provided us with the perfect base for a return to North Norfolk - a part of the country we know well and enjoy. It's proximity to the lovely beach (15 min walk) and to local pubs and amenities means that you are never isolated and yet the views from the rear of the Cottage are stunning and tranquil as they extend over the local marshes and towards the sea. The Cottage is clean, well equipped and comfortable. With 3 double bedrooms (probably one best used only by children or teenagers) it is perfect for a family holiday. The double bedroom on the attic floor could benefit from an ensuite because the stairs are fairly steep which doesn't make for easy access to the toilet and shower room but this is purely an observation. There is some traffic noise from the A149 on which the Cottage is located but we found that this all but ceased overnight and didn't overly disturb our sleep, even with windows open. With Brancaster, Holkham, Wells and other Norfolk coastal attractions and towns within very easy reach, the Cottage could not be better located. In summary, a really nice property which is clearly well loved by it's owners and, one senses, by returning visitors.

Amazing cottage
As soon as we arrived at the cottage we instantly felt relaxed, it was clean, felt homely and the view of the sea was perfect! The cottage has everything you need for your stay and the booklet describing how to get the beach etc was very handy. As a small side note if you have small children with you, you do need to watch them on the stairs as they are quite narrow and steep. We had a wonderful stay at Twitchers Cottage and would definitely go back again!

Fantastic stay at Twitchers Cottage
We had a lovely weeks stay at Twitchers cottage. The views of the nature reserve and the sea beyond it from the living room are stunning. If you are into nature then you are in for a treat. Lots of birds including Marsh Harriers to watch and a seal colony not far away on Titchwell beach. You will not regret staying here…

Lovely cottage with amazing views in a great location
Twitchers Cottage is a really lovely , comfortable place to stay in a perfect location for a short or long break . The views from the main living area are stunning - we just never tired of sitting and looking out at the fields and north Norfolk coast and all the birds. The cottage is beautifully furnished and well equipped with everything you need. There are 2 great eateries in Hotels in Titchwell and lots of great pubs in nearby brancaster and Thornham . Best of all you can walk from the door straight onto lots of great walks - meaning a break from the car and if you need a rest the coast hopper bus stop is right outside the drive . We really had a wonderful stay here . Thank you . We’d love to come back .

Superb cottage in great location
Twitchers Cottage was a lovely cottage in a brilliant location. It presented very clean and was a very well equipped cottage. It was ideally located to walk into Brancaster beach to observe the local seals but also the nature reserve. It included some very nice touches for example telescope, iPhone charger, binoculars. Fantastic views from the bedrooms. Fully recommended.
