A delightful, quaint little cottage nestled in the grounds of the owner’s arable farm, the Bothy has fine views over the Vale of Strathmore. Compact and cosy, it makes an ideal year round destination, with easy access to all amenities. There are two comfortable bedrooms, making it perfect for couples or families. The Bothy is located on the same farm as Clayhills Cottage (UK5833).
Located just a short drive away from the popular market town of Blairgowrie, Easter Rattray Cottages are in a great location for exploring this beautiful part of Perthshire, renowned for its soft fruit growing. Keen walkers will enjoy the nearby Cateran Trail and there are numerous cycle routes criss-crossing the area. For golfers there are plenty of courses, including a championship course in Blairgowrie itself as well as internationally renowened Gleneagles, St Andrews and Carnoustie a bit further afield. In winter the ski slopes at Glenshee are within easy reach and the cities of Perth, Dundee or Edinburgh offer good days out. Cycling, fishing and tennis are all available nearby and excellent walking routes can be found in the Angus Glens. Alternatively, explore the clean sandy beaches strung out along the east Coast.
