Nice location, walkingdistanceto good dinner choices in the old downtown area. Host was responsive and friendly. It was clean but worn, exactly as pictured only 10 years later.
Nice apartment with easy parking on the edge of the heart of downtown Inverness and a light industrial and commercial zone. Very convenient by auto to historic sites around Inverness and day trips further into the Highlands.
We were very unsatisfied with our stay in Inverness. The morning of our check in I reached out to the host 2 times on the the VRBO app and there was no response. We had not received any communication about the check in process. I had to call VRBO support 2 times and was on hold for more than 30 minutes while they tried to teach the host. Finally I found an email from them that had gone to my spam folder with the check in procedure. Why couldn’t they put this on the VRBO app and why could they not respond to my messages???? Once we finally figured out where the apartment was and how to retrieve the key from the correct lock box we got inside and immediately I noticed all the carpet stains and it really did not look as nice as the pictures. The kitchen was nice. The bathrooms boyh had mold in the grouting and in the bathroom off the twin bedroom the toilet seat was broken and sliding around. The sheets smelled as if they had not been laundered. I reached out to the company with our complaints and disappointment because they asked that we do that before we wrote any negative reviews. It’s been over 2 weeks and they never responded. I cannot recommend this place at all.
