Wonderful stay

Fabulous villa, spotless and just as lovely as the photos suggest. It has all you need for a relaxing stay, with multiple outdoor seating areas. The hosts and property manager bend over backwards to help. Location is great - in a quiet area, but only a short taxi ride away from the main town.

Luxurious Stay

The villa is gorgeous and more than exceeded our expectations. The pool area felt really private, safe and clean and the amount of options for outside seating left us spoilt for choice. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend at night. Easy walking distance to so many restaurants and for those slightly further afield we used Uber which was much more cost effective and stress free than hiring a car. Ken was fantastic at communication before we went and the information booklet he provided really helped us plan days out and find our feet, particularly during the first week of our stay. Whilst at the Villa the estate manager, Nuno, was really helpful and a great font of local knowledge. Can recommend BellaVita restaurant and if you have children (ours is 14 yrs) definitely spend a day at ZooMarine. Our first time to Portugal and after our experience I am certain we will be back.

Excellent Villa

An exceptional villa that is clearly loved and very well.maintained. We were after a home away from home and somewhere that didn’t feel ‘unloved’ as many rental villas can. We felt privileged to stay here and wanted for nothing. The semi detached property is very private and feels really safe, and the pool area is a dream. There is a really good quality supermarket within a 10 minute easy walk and loads of excellent restaurants nearby. Our initial impression was that we were a little ‘out of the action’ however we soon realised that we were very well located and that within an easy 10 minute walk we had a 2 michelin star restaurant, the brand new superb 5 star W hotel (Rihanna was there!!), the best chicken and chips we have ever tasted (Por do Sol) and lots of of authentic and delicious local restaurants. Uber Taxis always arrived within 10 minutes of booking and we even enjoyed an uber pizza that arrived within 20 minutes for a lazy lunch. If you want to be in the centre of the action, Albufeira is a just a quick taxi ride away, This villa really does have it all .

Review for Casa Laurena (Villa E), Sesmarias Village, Rua do Sextante, Albufeira Stay: 05/08/2024 to 12/08/2024 Our family of four, including two young children under the age of 10, had the pleasure of staying at Casa Laurena (Villa E) in Sesmarias Village, Albufeira, for a week in August 2024. We couldn’t have asked for a better holiday experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the villa’s modern design and pristine condition. The property is immaculate, with every detail carefully thought out to ensure comfort and convenience. The kitchen and BBQ area were particularly outstanding, fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals with ease. It felt like home away from home, but with the added luxury of a beautifully designed space. The outdoor area was a highlight for our family. The pool is fantastic—clean, well-maintained, and the perfect size for both adults and children to enjoy. We spent hours swimming and lounging by the pool, soaking up the Algarve sun. The outdoor space also offers plenty of shaded areas, which was ideal for our children to play safely while avoiding the midday heat. The location of Casa Laurena is another major plus. Situated in a quiet and peaceful area, it’s still within easy reach of local amenities and the stunning beaches of Albufeira. We loved the balance of tranquility at the villa and the excitement of exploring nearby attractions. Overall, Casa Laurena exceeded our expectations in every way. The attention
