We had such a lovely stay here, it felt super cosy and homey, we lit the fire every night. It was sociable, spacious and perfect for family nights in. Garden is huge - we want to book for summer next year as ideal for bbqs and sitting outside until the sun sets - this is a place that’s perfect all year round! Location was great, walking distance to a lovely high street with independent shops, antique store, bakery, couple of pubs. Really nice surroundings for walks, very close to motor museum too. We felt very safe and secure in the area and in the property. Hosts were very helpful on arrival and accommodating. We would love to book again - one of our favourite stay cations!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, absolutely lovely house, wish we could have booked 2 weeks. The house is full of period character but well fitted-out with everything you need for any length of stay. Clean and spacious rooms, lovely garden. Wifi is good, not sure of the speed but fast enough for console gaming (great if you have kids!)Parking is a little tight at the rear of the property but we managed to manoeuvre an estate car in out without issue when others parked sensibly.Host is great, we met Matthew briefly when we arrived as he put some finishing touches to the garden.Would highly recommend, so much so we're thinking of going back next year.
I cannot fault our stay at this lovely period property. It is well located in the heart of Beaulieu and well equipped. We had a 3 night break and got yo make use of the lovely large garden.Matthew greeted us on arrival and and the cake and fizz was much aporeciated. I would recommend this property to anyone wanted an excellent base for exploring the area.We stayed
The property was beautiful - very well equipped, clean, homely and in a perfect location. Small welcoming touches - carrot cake, Prosecco, logs for the fire - just added to the sense of a real home from home. Could not fault the property or the host, who provided lots of local information to help make the whole trip fun and relaxing.
So many thoughtful touches made this such a relaxing stay and our hosts were super helpful and responsive. Will stay again next time we are in the area!
My friends and I booked this property to get out of London for a couple of days. The cottage was beautiful and a lot larger than we expected! The cottage was so clean and really cosy. The location is perfect, right in the centre of the village and we jumped in taxis when necessary. The host, Matthew, was very responsive and provided all the information needed. I would definitely come back again!
The property is a beautiful, large, period property with a large, secure garden, in a fabulous location. The house is very well equipped, very clean, and very tastefully decorated and furnished. Communication with the host was very good. It was the perfect base for exploring the area, and we can’t wait to return.
The house was lovely, situated right in the heart of Beaulieu. Lots of space, right beside the amenities. It was a treat to step outside and see the donkeys wandering up the street.
We stayed in the Old Bank House for our son’s wedding weekend. It was fabulous, a cottage with character but with all modern facilities and wonderful accommodation and garden. Located in Beaulieu , a short walk to the pub that serves great food.
Communication with the owner was excellent too. A bottle of Prosecco and a carrot cake waiting for us on arrival was the icing of the cake!
This is the second time our family group (6 adults) has stayed here, and it was just as wonderful. Lovely decor, immaculately clean. The host is very helpful. The house is perfectly situated for exploring the New Forest. Large garden. No problems parking in the street if you have more than one car. Highly recommended.
Everything about The Old Bank House was exceptional. The house is beautifully furnished and equipped to a very high standard. At the same time we were made to feel comfortable and welcome to enjoy the space without any restrictions. The bedrooms were all good sized with very comfy beds. It’s ideally located in the village centre, with easy and convenient parking. And the host, Matthew, was very accommodating and responsive. I can’t recommend this property more highly - book it if you can!
From start to finish this was an incredible place. Our hosts communication pre arrival was superb and to be met on arrival with cake , chocolates and Prosecco was such a great start . A beautiful property and garden all in pristine condition and everything was perfect
Had an enjoyable stay in the centre of Beaulieu.
House very clean, with comfortable beds. Large garden with barbecue. Nice welcome pack.
Enjoyed walks around Beaulieu seeing the many ponies.
Many places to eat in village. Would love to stay again.
3 generations of our family stayed here to celebrate my mums birthday and it was perfect. The house was full of character and brilliantly appointed with everything we could have needed. The garden was huge and my nieces loved rolling down the slope at the end. Beaulieu is a great location both as somewhere to visit itself but also as a base to explore from. We're already talking about when we might go back!
Our family had spent a lovely weekend together here. The house is on the small, quaint High Street. The rooms are beautifully furnished, spacious and spotlessly clean. The large garden is a great place to spend time relaxing in, with a fabulous bbq and large table. The kitchen is very well equipped , and the host Matthew was very kind and helpful.
Beautiful listed property in the centre of Beaulieu, everything you could need to make your stay just perfect, Matthew the host very helpful and informative definitely will stay again
It was an ideal place to celebrate my birthday in this well-kept and clean house. The rooms were large and catered well for the family. We enjoyed having a celebratory family meal around the large table and the well-equipped kitchen was good. It was very well placed to have our visit to the Beaulieu Motor Museum. The house fulfilled all our needs and everybody enjoyed their weekend break.
My friend and I had a wonderful 3 night stay in The Old Bank House. It is located in the heart of Beaulieu high street with easy parking at the rear of the property. The home is well equipped, very clean and beautifully furnished. There is plenty of living space and 4 good size bedrooms. The beds are extremely comfortable too.
The garden is large and private with an outdoor table and chairs.
Matthew was a great host, informative and easy to communicate with.
Look forward to another visit sometime.
