Charming cottage on North Norfolk coast

Cosy, dog friendly cottage. Perfect for long beach walks with or without a pet.
Sloe Gin Cottage has a charming interior that boasts traditional period features with quirky splashes of character throughout including exposed beams, trusses and a cosy wood-burning stove. Lovingly restored, using traditional materials and colours, the cottage provides stylish accommodation with comfortable furnishings. A real 'home from home' with hidden wooden mice to hunt for!
Accommodation: Ground Floor - Sitting Room: a welcoming room with comfortable seating, cosy throws and wood-burner, Smart TV. Kitchen/Dining Room - gas range cooker, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge /freezer, washing machine, sofa, farmhouse kitchen table and chairs, French doors to courtyard garden, stairs to the first floor. Please note: The staircase at the property is a typical Norfolk staircase. It may be steeper than your staircase at home. First Floor - Bedroom 1 with a double bed, Bedroom 2 with 2'6" twin beds. Bathroom - bath tub, rainfall over-bath shower, washbasin and wc. Garden - fully enclosed sunny courtyard with table and chairs. Gas central heating and woodburner. Pets - Two well behaved medium-sized dogs welcome downstairs only. Also provided - towels, highchair and stair gate. Books, DVDs, games, radio. WiFi. Note this is a non-smoking property. Mobile signal - good. Parking for 2 cars on gravel drive.

A Beautiful Place To Stay

The cottage is beautiful and very well equipped, the kitchen had everything you could ever need. It was very peaceful and quiet, just the place for a relaxing weekend break.Pubs, shops and takeaways all within walking distance.Garden was lovely and caught the sun both in the morning and late afternoon.Messages with the hosts, Nicky and Raj, were answered promptly and informative - many thanks

Lovely cottage

Stayed here for Easter. Such a lovely cozy cottage and well equipped. Off street parking a bonus and saves a lot of hassle with parking Cottage a great base for visiting local places such as Sandringham, Holkham, Hunstanton, Norfolk Lavender and so on. Would definitely recommend.

Charming Getaway in a Quite Seaside Village

I impulsively booked a solo getaway for myself and couldn't have stumbled upon a more perfect place to escape! This place was exactly as described, and had all the charm and peaceful quiet I was looking for. The visitor guidebook that Nicky and Raj provided was so helpful and brought me to explore additional places nearby I didn't know about. Their guidance and communication for the check-in and check-out process was very smooth also. I can't brag about my stay enough - if you stay here, you'll wonder when you'll be lucky enough to visit again!

Gorgeous cottage

Sloe Gin cottage is the perfect place to stay for a visit to the Norfolk coast, it’s absolutely immaculate & equipped with everything you could possibly need for a fantastic short break. We would return & recommend to others without hesitation. Our only issue was that we didn’t want to leave!!! Very helpful hosts should you need to contact them 😊

Delightful

Delighted with our break at Sloe Gin Cottage - surpassed our expectations! A beautiful, traditional cottage, elegantly designed and one of the best equipped kitchens we've stayed at. Communication with Nicky (host) was excellent, very proactive, welcoming and responsive. Very thoughtful welcome hamper saved us rushing out to get milk after a long drive. Close to a large Lidl so easy to stock up, with plenty of choice for places to eat out nearby. Very happy with our stay.

Lovely stay at Sloe Gin Cottage

Lovely cottage which has been tastefully modernised by thoughtful caring owners, it has everything and more in a bright clean cottage which still retains its charms. The kitchen is large and spacious with every modern appliance you need, it’s also been extended and is deceptively spacious. People had mentioned parking- we didn’t have a problem, my wife is disabled and we parked opposite the cottage with no problem, the road is quiet and there is little/ v light traffic Lots of pubs and beaches, villages to visit near by like Burnham Market & Holt, great places to explore from a home from home base 😃 the owners have hidden carved mice around the cottage which is a lovely touch to find & count (11 🤔😃) Alll in all, a great stay thank you 😊 Dave & Kirstie Chesterfield

Heaven in Heacham

We booked a 3 night stay on a bank holiday weekend without any elevated costs- brilliant! The cottage is beyond charming-the layout is sublime and it’s definitely what I’d call a chef's kitchen, where we spent most of our time- round the table meals and evening board games meant quality time (rare with teens!) Our two dogs were easily accommodated and loved having the run of an ample downstairs. If anything I’d say that the photos don’t do enough justice to the sheer space, airiness, and overall comfort. The beach was just a short walk away down what we have named “duck alley”! It was easy to stretch our legs, play on some 2p machines, eat some chips and watch stunning sunsets. This is an absolute treasure of a find with great hosts in contact throughout. Will return.

Charming period cottage

Very welcoming comfy cottage. Exceptional well-equipped kitchen, quality items, everything you could need. Comfy beds and much appreciated welcome package. Only downside is access to parking - could benefit from dropped kerb plus we had a car parked across the road all the time we stayed, making access a little difficult. However, overall a recommended stay.

Extremely comfortable, well-equipped and quiet cottage

This is a delightful cottage, with a cosy sitting-room and then much larger than expected and extremely well-equipped kitchen/diner at the back. We didn’t have sitting out weather, but there is a small secluded garden at the back which would be lovely in summer - better than it appears on the Vrbo photos. Despite being on a road called High Street it is very quiet. A bonus is the well above-average quality selection of books and DVDs available.

Great Cottage - had everything that was needed and lots I didn’t know I needed !! Very clean - very cosy nice walk to the beach Pubs nearby (not bad but not very old worldly) All round perfect stay in a perfect cottage
