We have owned the property - all 40 acres - since 2011, and spent five years trying to decide what to do with it. A family wedding was held there in a gorgeous part of the property in 2015 and in early 2016 we had finally decided on building a cabin overlooking the babbling creek and incredibly picturesque hillside consisting in large part of spruce and aspen. We finished building our cabin in July 2017! We see wildlife all the time - even a moose has been spotted. Angileen grew up in Lava Hot Springs and we are both thrilled with the result.

Why they chose this property

A recent guest wrote: "We enjoyed our first Friendsgiving at this magical spot. We were greeted by deer in the meadow and got to watch a coyote and wild turkeys. State of the art kitchen, beautiful amenities and spotless. The grill was brand new! We lucked out with kindest of owners and can’t wait to return."

What makes this property unique

Oh this is easy. We have an awesome combination of sledding hills right around the cabin for winter fun, and 40 forested acres to explore. The cabin features huge windows to take advantage of the amazing views, and a spacious wrap-around deck.
