Staying in Quinta Grande de Boliqueime gives you the feeling of having your own little village! It is really a very nice vacation spot and extremely suitable for families or friends who want their own privacy but still want to enjoy their vacation together. Quinta Grande de Boliqueime actually consists of 3 restored farm houses that together can accommodate 12 people. The new owners have decorated the house with much cosiness and taste and the outside area is very attractive and cheerful. There are beautifully decorated, intimate private terraces, a roof terrace, balconies, a large swimming pool, garden, 2 large outdoor dining tables, many sunbeds spread around the pool, a large barbecue terrace and many flowers and plants. There are a total of 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 3 dining kitchens, 2 living rooms. To the left of the large swimming pool (11x4m, up to 2m. deep) is a large terrace with dining table and the traditional Portuguese barbecue and to the right is another large communal dining table on the terrace.
Surroundings Quinta Grande de Boliqueime

Quinta Grande de Boliqueime is centrally located in the Algarve and is easily accessible. It is located in a rural area called Benfarras, where many orange and lemon trees grow and in a small agglomeration with a few other houses, about half an hour drive from the airport. Within walking distance is a nice traditional restaurant and 3 km is the village of Boliquieme with 2 large supermarkets and a few restaurants. There are several bicycle and hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. You are within a fifteen minute drive on the beaches between Olhos de Agua and Vilamoura. Several golf courses are within reach. Loulé with its monumental market and old fun center and restaurants is 15 minutes drive away.

Through a lockable entrance gate you enter the 'village street' / courtyard. Left and right of this are the 2 houses. They are focused on the south-facing pool. You can park your car on the premises.

A little oasis

Brilliant. All my doubts evaporated on arrival. Deolinda greeted us and made us welcome. The accommodation was perfect for my families: grandparents, 3 children plus spouses and 3 grandchildren. Much laughter was heard from the pool all day. At night the boys did the braai and the girls the salads. It was the best time ever. Thank you.

Lovely family holiday

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the property. As a large family group of 10 we had the 3 separate properties as one booking and the spaces worked really well for us as everyone had their own space but we could use the largest as a base for our cooking & socialising. The only slightly negative points would be that whilst very clean, the bathrooms were a little dated/tired and let the properties down slightly. The same can be said of the pool with some cracked tiles etc. The location was also more rural than we were expecting from the description with nothing in walking distance. Having said that we had hired a car and taxis/Ubers were easy to arrange so it didn’t affect our stay but it would have been nice to have an option of a walk without a drive first. Overall though we had a wonderful time and I have to say that it was the best equipped kitchen that we have ever had on any holiday!

Perfect property for multiple families

With three separate buildings, each family had room to spread out but then reconvene in the main house or outdoors for meals. The pool was the perfect size with plenty of seating around the pool for everyone. The grill came in handy one night for cooking. Deolinda, our host, was wonderful. Incredibly responsive and helpful, willing to make reservations for dinner when asked. The AC in the rooms was phenomenal and much appreciated in the evenings. Overall, we loved our visit and would definitely stay at the property again. Property's a little remote so I would provide more restaurant recommendations as it was a little difficult figuring out where to eat in the evenings. For example, I would add Donkey's Bar and some of the other more upscale eateries to what was included in the welcome book. Otherwise, it's a fantastic property. The only other suggestion would be to provide an option for guests to do their own laundry instead of relying on Maria.

Mooi Algarve in Bolequeime.

Mooi huis van alle gemakken voorzien, heerlijk zwembad. Bij aankomst was er gezorgd dat we ontbijt hadden, dat was super. Het huis was zeer schoon. Hier en daar wat achterstallig onderhoud, hekwerk en poortjes buiten, ligbedden bij zwembad, de kraan in de keuken lekt.
