The farmhouse Monti 1824 in Casole d'elsa was built 1650 and restored in the traditional Tuscan style, with careful attention to every minor detail. When restructuring and renovating the house for rental apartment, we put ourselves in your shoes to make decisions that would provide a homelike environment of comfort and quality.

Located in the heart of the Tuscany countryside between Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra, the vacation accommodations are convenient for exploring the culture, nature and wine. Monti 1824 is within easy walking distance of Casole d’Elsa ( 1 km away) where you can truly enjoy the town life.

The concept of a family enviroment is related also to the holiday accommodations:made to be family friendly. The garden is contained and well kept , just the type of place that invites to sit outside to read a book , play games or drink a nice glass of red wine (Chianti of course !).

Monti 1824 offers 3 apartments and 3 cottages + a panoramic swimming pool.

The panoramic pool ( 6 m x 12 m) is set in a short distance from the farmhouse, so it is close enough reach by foot , but not too close that the fun and laughter will spill over into the garden. The area lends itself to a fun filled family holiday, especially when you are interested about the local culture, traditions and meeting the Tuscans. Casole d'elsa is just 1 km from the Holiday House ( there is a well mantained path , illuminated at night) and it is a lovely little town with an exceptionally packed social calendar. You will always find concerts , markets , activities and events that will bring you into the authentic atmosphere.

Ciliegio Apartment :

The apartment Ciliegio measures 90 sq.m. and it is entirely on groundfloor. It is composed by kitchen, living room with sofas, double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom with shower. Furnished in Tuscan style with original furniture and exposed beams. In front of the outdoor furnished area. For max 4 guests.

Here at Monti 1824 we offer weekly cooking classes in the ancient rooms of our family farmhouse. You will have the chance to learn how to prepare the traditional dishes which are prepared in our homes for a true Tuscan lunch.

ABOUT CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT :

1.Check-in guaranteed not before than 16.00h and until 18.00h. In case of delay ,please contact previously the owner.

2.Check out by 9:00 am.

3.Delivery of the key by the owner ( no self check in )

OPTIONAL COSTS NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE:

+Heating ( on a pay per use basis) : 1.90 euros per hour. There is a thermostat with hour counter inside the apartment to allow the guests using it when they prefer. Period by law for heating use: 1 st November - 15 April .

+Washing machine: 5 euros / wash

+Extral change of towels and linen ( on request) : 16 euros per person

+Mid- cleaning ( on request) : 50 euros

+Pool towels ( on request) : 5 euros / each .Pool towels are not included in the towel set,so must be booked before the arrival date. If pool towels are not booked in advance we cannot guarantee to provide them.

MANDATORY EXTRA COSTS:

+Stay tax will be requested upon arrival and it mandatory for all guests over 11 years old. The stay tax can be paid only in cash.

+The farmhouse is composed of 6 holiday accommodations + swimming pool

+The pool is shared with the other accommodations of the holiday farmhouse Monti 1824 .

+Close to the local town Casole ( 1 km).

+Pool open from April 1st till October 30th (opening may vary depending on weather conditions). Opening time 8.00 - 19.30 .

+Guests will find only upon arrival a starter kit with some courtesy products to start their stay : toilet paper roll ( 1) , hand soap, some dish soap, a few dishwasher tablets.

-introuduce people not included in the reservation and not recorded as Monti 's 1824 guests inside the estate (swimming pool, garden, apartment and parking)
