The property was exceptional! VERY clean and exactly like the pictures. Very very nice and could walk downtown. The owners were quick to respond when we had questions and so nice and pleasant to speak with. Very lovely spot in Yorktown and would highly recommend.

This house was very clean, well appointed and gorgeous. The bed is comfortable, and it’s very peaceful here. We had no trouble getting rest. There’s also a private parking area, a big plus for us. The surrounding area is very walkable and the local residents are very friendly. If you like history it’s all close by. There’s also the Mariners Museum that’s a short drive in Newport News that’s absolutely amazing. The hosts are responsive and provide plenty of information. You won’t be disappointed if you have the opportunity to stay here.

We are repeat guests because everything exceeds our expectations. Jim and Christie are excellent hosts, attentive and personable, who have provided a beautiful home away from home in a convenient, peaceful location. The house is very clean, well stocked with essentials, entertainment options, beautiful decor, and comfortable furniture. Honestly, we can’t think of a negative!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was exceptionally clean, in a great location, and had so many thoughtful touches that made us feel welcome and comfortable. Everything was exactly as described, and the hosts clearly take pride in providing a great experience. We would definitely stay here again and will be reserving this home for future trips. A lovely cottage right in Yorktown that our family of 4 enjoyed staying in very much. The main living area is beautiful and the beds are very comfortable, with the twin bedroom being downstairs and main double upstairs. The kitchen was well equipped, if a little small for two to work comfortably! But it had everything we needed for our stay, the beach is a short walk and we found the history of the area, all within a short distance of the cottage, to be fascinating.

The beautiful cottage was perfect for a long weekend. Just a few steps from the York River you can enjoy a quiet and restful vacation. We will definitely stay here again. The hosts were wonderful and so was the cottage.

We had an amazing stay! This house is perfect for a family with kids. We loved the cozy house and enjoyed the location. It allowed up to walk around Yorktown. Our kids brought their bikes and were able to bike everywhere. The host were great very promoted. The house was super clean.

This host is away nice and accommodating especially with this trip and the lateness check in due to the Auto train for Fla being all screwed up due to the fires that started after we got on the train and had to return to the starting point and start our stay a day and half later than planned.

Exceptional cottage in prime Yorktown location. Quiet, private, peaceful, safe, INCREDIBLY clean, beautiful decor. Kitchen is wonderfully stocked w/dishes and cooking/baking wares. Gas fireplace lights by flicking a light switch! Beds are super comfortable. Trolly picks up right across street from location but honestly you can walk the whole town to see outside of historic buildings. Very close to battlefield, etc. Wonderful place to stay for Colonial Williamsburg close enough for easy driving access but far enough away for relaxing vacation. Hosts communication is timely and effective. 10/10.
