The Casita is a cozy 2 bedroom, one bath, small dog friendly home is on a corner lot in a family friendly neighborhood just minutes from major attractions like Busch Gardens-Water Country. The area is rich with historical sites. Be sure to visit Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. There is a shopping center with a Grocery store and restaurants within walking distance from the property.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire home except the garage and sheds. Please use the home as if it is your own and help me keep it ready for the next guests that will be checking in.

Pets
NOTE: Well behaved small dogs are welcome at the Casita. I do not allow them on the couches or beds. If this is ok at home please bring covers for the couches and your own linens. Also I ask for them to be kenneled if left at home alone. This ensures there will be no damage caused by separation anxiety. Also please pick up the poop. When sending your request to stay, please include in the message that you agree to these rules and I will be happy to host. Thank you.

Clean and good location

The house was nice and clean. My dog enjoyed the fenced in backyard. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The location was a good location for Colonial Williamsburg and other attractions. The neighborhood could have been a little better,

Nice place, Great location

The place is very nice and is located very close to all the attractions. The owner is owner is super responsive. Great place to stay for 2-4 people in Williamsburg, VA area. Highly recommend.

Comfortable home and great location

The house was very clean and had everything you could need. It had a great backyard for our dog and nice deck to sit outside and relax. You can't beat the location.

Great time in Williamsburg!

We walked our dog to a wonderful coffee shop next to the supermarket every morning, ride our bikes int colonial Williamsburg, played golf at the golden horse shoe, played pickleball, and enjoyed happy hour on the back deck. Ryan has everything you need in the house, beds are comfortable, -an excellent overall experience!

Perfect location

The home has everything you need. Very well kept. Neighborhood is great. Traveled to tour historic triangle- when it says close to everything it is an understatement. Would definitely book again.

Fun fall getaway

Perfect location for Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. Loved the back patio and yard. Space was great and the kitchen was well stocked. Super clean and we loved the art work. Thank you for letting us stay!

Always A Great Host & Home

This place is always great and the owner is always very helpful and communicative if needed. We've stayed here for 10+ days a couple of times. Nice, clean home, very convenient location to everything. Comfortable beds, professional but laid back owner and very cool artistic personality - as seen in the house itself. Cozy, comfy, clean, and quiet

Our family of four enjoyed this home away from home in Williamsburg. Ryan was AWESOME in communicating from the moment we first booked the accommodation all the way through our departure date. We were pleased with the comfort of the home as well as how conveniently located it was to Colonial Williamsburg and other area highlights. We would definitely recommend this quiet neighborhood home!

Wonderful stay

Ryan’s house is beautifully landscaped outside and immaculately clean inside. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen stocked with all your cooking needs. The neighborhood is quiet and in a great location for touring Williamsburg to Virginia Beach. Ryan took a few moments to stop by to meet us, at our convenience, and offered assistance/recommendations with any travel needs we had. We enjoyed a wonderful week at The Casita.

Great Location! Spotlessly Clean! Easy drive to Williamsburg! Excellent Kitchen! Very Convenient!

The Casita made our stay very enjoyable. We had quiet nights, a nice kitchen, a comfortable mattress and inviting decor. The Casita had a well-organized kitchen, with everything needed to prepare a meal... and there were stores nearby where you could buy your food and also great restaurants within a short drive. We loved the artwork in the livingroom and throughout the rest of the house. Ryan answered all of my questions in advance of our stay.

This was a very easy place for a "home base." The house was spotless and pleasant. We did suggest to Ryan that "grab bars" in the bathroom would be a comfort. The deck and small back yard were lovely.

Ideal Vacation Rental

The location of this property is beyond amazing. It is central to just about anything one would want to do or see in Williamsburg. The house itself was absolutely perfect for us, our dogs and a stop over visit of our family. Ryan is very accommodating, communicates effectively and has made his property a fantastic place for a vacation. Ryan also was very quick when we encountered a small AC issue during a heat wave. We highly recommend Ryan and the Casita on the Corner. You won't be disappointed. We look forward to staying here again.

Close to everything in Williamsburg

15 minutes from Yorktown, Jamestown, and Busch gardens. House was very clean. Great fenced backyard for the dogs. Fyi..next door neighbors have dogs too. House was easy to get to. Not sure of neighborhood but was pretty quiet. We brought blowup mattresses for kids to avoid sharing the bed, enough space for 2. Great outdoor lighting when coming in late, both front and back. Would stay again.

Great vrbo for house hunting!

My husband and I had a wonderful almost 2 month stay here! Ryan was a super host, helping us in any way we asked! He was very polite and went up and beyond as a host! We were house hunting to move here from New York. The house was very clean, comfortable, and provided everything you would need to feel at home, including off street parking! The location was perfect for shopping and exploring Williamsburg. We very highly recommend this property! The neighbors were friendly too! We were able to find a house and will be moving here permanently soon! Thank you Ryan for helping make our dream come true!

Great little house

We were in town helping our daughter with a move and are so glad to have found this house. We arrived late in the day but check in was still easy. The house was clean upon arrival. The landscaping is beautiful and the house gets lots of natural light. There were plenty of extra towels, and every random necessity - from a hair dryer to plastic wrap. The only negative is if you have a bad back the beds and sofas may be a bit soft for you. Other than that we were extremely happy with our stay.

Hidden Gem

Beautiful property! Fenced-in backyard with lots of sitting options on the deck. Quiet. Pet friendly (a huge plus for me!); and Ryan was easily accessible by phone. The home was well-appointed. I packed a cooler and picnic basket for breakfasts, lunches; but the kitchen was ready for guests...coffee, creamer, etc.; and there was a Food Lion just around the corner for anything else. Property was located close to restaurants and minutes away from other family who traveled here for a wedding; and a short drive to Jamestown (wedding venue and Jamestown village). I would absolutely check availability here when i visit Williamsburg again!

Excellent Stay

The large kitchen has retro charm but has all updated appliances/backsplash. (Loved the pine wood cabinets in the kitchen because they reminded me of my grandmother's growing up in Newport News). Ryan has worked hard to update the house inside and out and it shows. He also maintains it with attention to detail. Enjoyed looking at the original artwork inside and the original sculptures outside. The support of local community is obvious. Thankful for the recommendations in the book on the coffee table and from Ryan himself. Neighbors on either side and across the street are friendly. This rental is convenient to everything, clean, and comfortably quiet.

Why they chose this property

Initially I chose this property because its centrally located in Williamsburg. I lived in the home for 5 years and worked hard to transform this place into a modern travelers home. This is my first and only vacation home. I live and work nearby. I love living here and welcome travelers to come and enjoy this place I call home. I like how I can get around town by bike or walking. My dogs(chihuahuas) Sprocket and Chico love chasing the squirrels around the College of William & Mary and strolling down Duke of Gloucester aka DOG street. Since I have lived in the area. 5 breweries have opened as well as excellent restaurants nearby. There are 3 wineries close by. The Williamsburg Winery is the closest to the home. I hope you choose to stay at my place and enjoy everything Williamsburg has to offer.

What makes this property unique

The neighborhood is very nice and quiet most of the time. I love my neighbors in our tight knit community. We watch out for one another and share veggies in the summertime. They will wave and welcome you to the neighborhood during your stay.
