Nice but some updates needed

Proper lock needed on toilet and bathroom. ! Downstairs is just toilet and a sink not a full bathroom Only a 2 seater and a 3 seater in living room. 6 adults stayed so one had to sit on dining chair. Another comfortable chair would be beneficial. Shower screen insufficient. We had to rig up a shower curtain to prevent water spilling. A brush and pan would have been handy Very small fridge A mirror in bedrooms would be a welcome addition Hand rail on stairs needs securing This is just feedback. Nice place to stay though.£7 taxi fare into york or 20 min walk.

A comfortable house close to York center

Has a Good parking spot, easy access, and a clean, newly decorated property, well fitted out. 3 good-sized double bedrooms. 1 bathroom, and two loos. An easy Uber ride into town. A great location for a city break.

A weekend in York

Drove up from Surrey on the Thursday for my sons wedding on the Saturday. The joining instructions, address and directions were clear. Accomodation for my wife and my Father in law (80), who has walking difficulty. Parking space is close to property making loading and unloading luggage easy via the back door and through the small garden. The hous, a turn of the century end of terrace property is clean and decorated in a modern style. It has three good double bedrooms and plenty of living space. Thd kitchen is fully fitted with everything you need. The Wi-Fi provided was easy to log on to and media was ok - limited to streaming anc no major tv networks if you want to watch a program live. I player and itv x etc. we were in anc out of York using Uber. Thd best way as parking in York is a nightmare. Currently road works make it a long trip but location is great to get to the city center. Expect pay about £12 each way to the Shambles drop point. All in all a very lovely house that served its purpose for us. Thank you.

It was further out of town than we'd have liked but served our needs well.

The house was newly refurbished (except the bathroom), well equipped and clean. Some minor points to mention are that the rug in the hall means you can't open the door to the downstairs toilet so has to be moved, there is no light bulb in the downstairs toilet and it wasn't possible to adjust the shoer temperature.
