Close to student accommodations/Kavanaugh court
The location is close to kavanaugh courts, the apartment was lovely inside, and the hosts were very attentive, we asked for fans for the heatwave and two were delivered the next day. The neighborhood at night alone as a woman had me a little on guard walking home, but it had great access to restaurants and shopping. It had pretty good amenities they provided shampoos, coffee, creamers etc, pots if you wanted to cook, a washing machine (the typical European machine washer / dryer combo) it doesn’t dry well but they had a drying rack. Now the bad side, the entire building smelled like mold from the second you entered, you can see the water damage in the hallways, the smoke detector in the hallway beeped all day/night and the smoke detectors in apartment were missing. The listing said 3 rd floor but by American standards and descriptions it should say 4th floor walk up no elevator which is standard for Europe but when you’re coming from out of town with luggage I should have paid more attention but the price was right. Which if you don’t have multiple luggage’s is fine but we were moving my daughter in to Trinity college and had multiple suitcases I almost died bringing them all upstairs. 2 flights per floor up to the 4 th floor. So you have to be in pretty good shape to walk up to the apartment with luggage, and I was pretty tired in general without luggage. I would potentially stay again but not with all the luggage we had.
