Really nice a tranquil surroundings, not far from many public houses and restaurants.Very nice to be able to listen to the rain on the windows with no worries or schedule.
The hut is in an off grid location. Perfect for a weekend away. Mandy had thought of everything for a comfortable stay. The hot tub is a great addition with amazing views. We had a slight issue on our last day where the hut ran out of gas but Mandy was kind to sort this. We would definitely recommend.

Thank you for your kind words. Sometimes technical issues can cause an issue but we do our best to resolve these quickly when they occur. Thank you for your understanding.
A lovely stay on the farm overlooking the fields. It's set aside from the rest of the farm and has everything you need for a quiet & cosy weekend getaway. The hot tub was the perfect temperature and the garden furniture, and BBQ meant we could relax late into the evening outside and cook outside. There's a full kitchen setup if that's more your speed too.Check-in was smooth with details shared ahead of time. Driving directions were simple (take the track slow but it's easy to drive even in a city car) and the hut was well signposted when you arrive! We'd definitely come back!
The hut on the hill is stunning, as is the barn. The owners Mandy & David provided everything you could possibly need. Fresh white fluffy towels & dressing gowns/ eggs/ milk/ cake/ bread and a bed/ bowl/ leads& treats for our dogs.
The hot tub was a wonderful temperature. The bed was comfy and the shower & loo brill.
Both the hut and barn were decorated beautifully and all mod cons provided. The scenery was stunning & peaceful.
Thanku to the owners soo lovely !

Stunning location with gorgeous quirky accommodation
The quirky nature of the Shepherds Hut combined with the superb location were what appealed to us & we were 'not' disappointed! The Hut was beautiful & incredibly well kitted out with everything you could need. The welcome pack was a lovely touch & very much appreciated. We travelled with our pet dog & it was reassuring to be able to close the gate & know he was safe & secure. It was lovely to be able to watch the alpacas in the field by the hut too! This is a fantastic place to stay & unwind from the modern stresses of everyday life. It was so peaceful & being able to relax in the hot tub & watch the sunset, was a fabulous way to celebrate our Special Wedding Anniversary. We enjoyed a lovely walk across the fields to The Dog & Muffler Pub, which we would definitely recommend for food. All in all, we had an extremely enjoyable stay & we would love to stay again!!!
