We had an amazing time at this property. All the amenities were wonderful. Our host was quick to respond to our questions and even met with us in person. We would definitely rent here again . The kitchen inside and outside were so nice!! The horseshoe pit was a nice touch, we loved it! The hot tub and pool were definitely a highlight.

We had an amazing time at the Hillside Hideaway. Everything we could have possibly needed was provided. Pool and hot tub were amazing. All beds were comfortable and den was good for sitting and hanging out. We really enjoyed the game room. Thank you for sharing your amazing home.

Perfect Spot for Family Christmas

We had such a great stay for our family Christmas at the Hillside Hideaway! The weather was amazing so we were able to enjoy the outdoor activities, and had plenty room for everyone to enjoy the festivities. Already discussing retuning for a summer gathering. A great spot for a family getaway

Everything you need for a wonderful weekend. Between the game room, the pool and the sand, our grandkids wore themselves out. Great outdoor kitchen for easy mealtimes. Emma's thought of all the things that make this a relaxing place to atay.

Great family vacation!

Our family recently stayed at Hillside Hideaway. We ranged in age from 5 to 75! This is a great place to stay. The house, pool, outdoor kitchen, sand court, hot tub all were wonderful. Emma is great to work with and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. This is our second stay and we hope to be back again next year!

Great Family Getaway

This is our second time staying here and we love it! The kids and adults both enjoy the pool and hot tub, as well have having our annual ping pong tournament and sand volleyball games. S’mores at the fire pit is a great way to end the night. The cabin has all the amenities/supplies you will need for your trip. We will definitely be back!

Fiftieth wedding anniversary family get away

We had an excellent experience at the Bauman’s Hillside Hideaway. It was spacious enough to accommodate our large family. The fireplace and fire pit were great additions to add to our visit. The game room had something for everyone.

Beautiful, relaxing stay!

Endless opportunities for activities (games, etc.). Warm refreshing pool (even in October!) Emma was very sweet and helpful - awesome recommendation on the coffee shop! Outdoor kitchen area was nice. All areas of the home were extremely clean. Being able to log in speaker system was a definite plus. Enjoyed the back yard spaces, which were together yet separated for various activities. Secluded and private. Beautifully decorated.

Our yours, mine and ours family vacay

Our first impression driving up we couldn’t believe how lucky we were to find this place. It was just as pictured inside and outside. The amenities were abundant we couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was super hot when we were there so the pool and everything about the pool was amazing. I especially loved that it had an automatic pool cover for little ones safety.

This place was fabulous - the kitchen had plenty of dishes, cookware, appliances, spices. Lots of games available to play. Bathroom well stocked with things like toilet paper, cotton balls, q-tips, hand soap, hand sanitizer, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. Very thoughtful touches if you were traveling with 2 year olds. Pool was awesome. Our family wants to plan to stay here again!

Tremendous Family Vacation!

The Hideaway was awesome! Many amenities. The Smores were unexpected but appreciated! We loved the piped in music and outdoor kitchen by the pool. The kids loved the sand by the volleyball pit. That outdoor shower was then necessary. So many extras. Thank you!

Best in the Midwest

I have been bringing my family here for the past 6 years are we are currently planning to come again next year for our 7th year in a row. The secluded location of the property and all the different amenities are amazing and have provided years of memories for my family. We've searched to find similar properties in the Midwest and haven't found anything that compares to what the Hillside Hideaway offers. To make things even better, the owners are great people and we enjoy talking with them every year when we come.

Special Weekend with Extended Family

We came in town for a short weekend, as a group of 14. Plenty of room for all of us and lots of activities for all ages. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could need. Wow!!Wow!! and WOW!!!

The photos do not give justice to this beautiful property. Emma had us feeling right at home. The thought that has been done to provide everything imaginable is utterly amazing. One of the most kid friendly places we've ever seen. Can't wait to return during the summer.
