Came home to Lancaster county to visit family. Cabin was even more lovely than the pictures. There were some unexpected treats upon arrival and it was very cozy. The back yard was much larger than expected. The TV must have been upgraded since the pictures as well. That was a pleasant surprise.
The carriage house was immaculate, very well supplied. We really liked the treat basket, it came in handy the first night. If you are touring Amish country as we were this location puts you right in the middle of everything.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay while here to see Moses at Sight and Sound Theatre. Property was perfect in every way-private back yard, spacious living are, great bathroom and shower, kitchen equipped well, and comfy bedroom loft. Johanna was gracious and we were regularly visited by her friendly and loving pups. We’ll stay here again!
We stayed 5 nights and it was very relaxing, clean, convenient, and great personal touches. Centrally located for the area. Wonderful private patio that we enjoyed each night. Loved the loft bedroom. It was cozy and comfortable. Definitely recommend!
We very much enjoyed our vacation
The place was warm, clean and friendly and the host made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.
We would highly recommend this place and we would stay there again.

A nice, private, quiet spot to stay. The property was well stocked and we cooked a number of meals there. It was very clean and comfortable. We spent time on the attached patio and enjoyed the big backyard. You can park right near the entrance and there are 4 or 5 steps to get in (also plenty of steps to get up to the loft bedroom). The patio and entrance face the big backyard, are very private, and you're not even aware of the main house in front. The rental was a good value and we would recommend staying there.
Enjoyed my stay at your carriage house loft apartment. Nicely decorated and very clean and comfortable. I appreciated the coffee bar and the wine was very nice, too. Wish I could have stayed longer. Looking forward to booking again in the fall, this time with my boyfriend. I love visiting the Amish Country and he has never been. I highly recommend staying here and can't wait to come back. The only thing I would suggest is a curtain or shade of some sort in the bathroom window.
This property was clean, well furnished and above average quality. It was central to all Amish attractions. We would recommend this property to our friends.
Booked this for a girls weekend. The unit was convenient, clean, cute and close to what we planned to do. The visiting dogs fed our need from the pups we left at home! So nice that a Keurig and nice supply of coffee was ready for us. Awesome time. Thanks!
I have two kids and don't get away much. When I do go somewhere, I want peace and quiet. This place was perfect. And the house was so charming! I especially loved closing the little doors on the window over the bed, so I could sleep in, and opening them in the morning to greet the day. While I didn't use the back porch much, it is a nice spot to sit and read a book. Would definitely stay here again!
The furnishings were fresh and updated, it was in a restful location with patio seating that overlooks a meadow, very clean throughout the premises, owner easy to work with and accommodating, kitchen had ample supplies.
This property was everything we could hope for while exploring Lancaster county. It was roomy and had everything that we needed! Easy access and responsive hosts! We would definitely stay again!!
My wife and I spent three days here and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Great accommodations and a relaxing setting helped us get ourselves recharged which we do needed. There’s much to do in the area and this location is a great central point to all the fun and excitement that Lancaster County has to offer.
The Carriage House is a lovely spot for a getaway. Either sitting outside or lounging inside it was all fun. The kitchen area was well equipped; it had most anything you would need except for the food. The bath was well stocked with towels, toilet paper, tissues, soaps, everything you need except toothbrush and toothpaste. The bed was very comfortable, firm but not hard. The location was convenient to many of the attractions in the area; 20 minutes to Ephrata PA, home of the “Green Dragon” farmer’s market; 25 minutes to the Shady Maple smorgasbord; 20 minutes to Bird-in-Hand PA; 25 minutes to Strasburg PA, home of the Pennsylvania Railroad Museum, something for everyone.
The Carriage House is nice place to stay for those special occasions.
The loft was just perfect for us. Clean, peaceful, quiet, comfortable. Beautiful yard. The fireflies looked like fireworks at night. The kitchen had everything we needed and everything worked! The location is easy to get to Lancaster and we had some lovely meals in town. We will return when we can!
My boyfriend and I were looking to have a nice relaxing extended weekend getaway and this was just the right place. All the amenities we needed. Made coffee every morning from the Kuerig they provided and enjoyed it out on the back deck while listening to the birds chirping and the wind rustling through the trees. Just very relaxing. Loved everything about it and the hosts were very gracious. We highly recommend!
This is a great property. It is roomy, and in the middle of everything. From the market in Downtown Lancaster, to Amish country, to the train museum in Strasberg. And the food in the area was wonderful too.
Some things about the property itself, it was very clean, we had everything we needed. A nice patio, it was too cold to use it, but the grill/table/patio setup was nice.
We would definitely stay here again and the next York train show we probably will!

As soon as we found this property, we knew it was exactly what we have been looking for ...
