Perfect downtown base!

The location was perfect - the middle of Zona Velha! We walked all over downtown, and it was super close to the cable car and great restaurants! We loved the patio/deck - nothing fancy but we’d have our morning coffee or afternoon cocktails out there in the open air. The apartment was super nice and the washing machine was very useful. No issues whatsoever. The noise on Sat night was not that bad - bring ear plugs! Would definitely recommend this - GREAT value for $!!

Belle maison, très propre, moderne, bien équipée sauf pour cuisiner. Tranquillité mais nécessité de prendre la voiture pour tout. Vue magnifique sur l'océan.

Bien loin de l’impression que donne l’annonce

La maison est très bien mise en valeur par les photos et l’annonce, mais la réalité est toute autre. Rien de bien méchant en soit, mais ne vous attendez pas à ce que laisse imaginer l’annonce. La vue n’a rien à voir avec celle que montre les photos, vous aurez droit à route, maisons voisines, et installations électriques au premier plan, l’océan est bien loin derrière et bien plus bas. La voisinage comprends de nombreux chiens qui risquent de vous embêter a bien des reprises. La maison est en hauteur, et à hauteur des nuages dans la majorité des cas, vous vous retrouverez donc très fréquemment dans la brume. L’accessibilité est tout bonnement déplorable ! Au point de se demander si il était possible d’y accéder … tous les véhicules ne pourront pas y parvenir ! Notez aussi qu’il vous faudra faire la vaisselle à la maison pendant vos vacances, il faut le savoir. Pour le reste, la maison offre globalement de bonnes prestations ! Les chambres sont confortables et spacieuses, les salles de bain agréables, et la barbecue plus tôt génial ! La spa est plaisant mais la brume rends son utilisation peu fréquente. L’equipe est présente juste ce qu’il faut, ce qui est très agréable ! Pour conclure je dirais que le travail de mise en valeur est peut être un peu trop bien fait. Il faudrait que le tout soit plus transparent de sorte à ne pas avoir de déception une fois arrivé.

Researching the address and the neighbourhood is just as important for your comfort. Unfortunately, the photos of the property don't give complete information about the property, but it's up to the guest to do their own research before travelling, as it's the place where they're going to spend their holidays. As for accessibility, we know that Madeira is a mountainous island, sometimes with roads that are more difficult to access than others. These are the characteristics of the island. We believe that all the problems you mention are not under our control, and we also believe that your comments are very personal and may not coincide with the opinion of other guests. Well, we hope to see you again and we really recommend that future guests don't make reservations solely on the basis of photos. They're important, but they're not everything.

Prima uitvalbasis

Huis is royaal , netjes en schoon. Je uitzicht is ook prima je kijkt vanaf de berg naar zee (vrij zicht ). De locatie was even moeilijk te vinden omdat , zo leek het, we een soort geitenpaadje op moesten ( redelijk stijl ). Daar stonden vervolgens nog een drietal huizen waar gewoon mensen woonden, met honden die soms blaften, voor ons was dat geen bezwaar. Parkeren kun je goed op straat of indien gewenst op een afgesloten eigen terrein. De mooie plus was de jacuzzi deze constant op 36 graden heerlijk. Vanaf deze locatie kun je makkelijk overal naar toe als je over een auto beschikt want die heb je sowieso nodig om het eiland goed en gemakkelijk te bezichtigen. Samenvattend je zit buitenaf, rustig, auto is een must, prima huisje voor 2 of 4 volwassenen en 1 á 2 kinderen met een mooi buiten terras aan de voorzijde als aan de achterzijde ( deze is ook overkapt met een barbecue en pizzaoven met een mooi werkblad incl afspoel mogelijkheid , ... Top ) Dus een ieder die graag op zichzelf is en de drukte zelf wel opzoekt is dit prima uitvalbasis. Ohja er hadden ook nog een tussentijdse extra schoonmaak, mogelijk had dit te maken met het feit dat we een verblijf van 10 dagen hadden geboekt nieuw linnengoed incl handdoeken. Dus prima en een fijne vakantie gehad op het ZEER mooie Madeira.

Het is goed om te horen dat de jacuzzi en de buitenruimtes, inclusief de barbecue en pizzaoven, een pluspunt waren voor je verblijf. We zijn ook blij dat je de extra schoonmaak op prijs stelde. Je feedback over de noodzaak van een auto is ook zeer nuttig en we zullen dit in onze beschrijving opnemen om toekomstige gasten beter te informeren.
