Very cozy property close Katoomba town centre. The host was very welcoming and ensured we were comfortable.Bed was comfy and warm with a heated blanket. Coffee and tea facilities with a small fridge. Lovely living room to relax and wind down. Cafe next door had wonderful breakfast and atmosphere too!Thanks for a lovely stay!

Iconic and comfortable

This house was comfortable, cosy and had an old world charm. The host was warm, friendly and very hospitable; she even offered a plate of soup. She gave recommendations for entertainment and restaurants in the area. While making-herself available, she respected our privacy at the same time. Recommended.

A really wonderful host, she could not have done more for us. Beautiful home where she made us feel very welcome, and had a glass of wine for us when we arrived. Really gorgeous decorations, and even though it was freezing outside when we were there, she made every effort to make sure we were warm! She has a simply delightful dog too, with impeccable manners. She even offered to drive us places to see. We can't wait to go back to visit!

We had a very pleasant stay. Everything is very easy to reach on foot. The bus station right outside the front door. We ourselves arrived by car and had no problems finding a parking space on the street. We were able to experience the coolness of Blue Mountains. This was counteracted with electric blankets and heating devices. Jilea is right next door, is available. Otherwise you don't hear or see anything from each other if you don't want to. We were pleased to meet you.

Despite a sticky start regarding not dinding t&c's with request for a damage deposit (platform error?) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jilea's, a very quirky self contained space. The weather during our stay fluctuated so the electric blanket and throw were greatly appreciated. Jilea is a super host who couldn't have done more to make our stay the best it could be.

Attractive and quaint but read the T&Cs Carefully

The lengthy additional terms and conditions were a bit of a turn-off (you won't get to see them until after you've booked which, in NZ, would be against fair trading act). If you're OK with that, this place is well located and would be beautiful to stay in during the summer months.

Beautifully Cosy

A gorgeously decorated home! My partner and I’s vibe for sure, very romantic and different. Location is amazing, we mostly walked everywhere. Jilea was so communicative and lovely making sure we had everything we needed. The windows overlook beautiful trees and the slight parts of tin roof make the rain sound so nice. We loved the heated blanket and comfy lounge. The shower and bathroom overall was so nice as well. We’d definitely stay again next time we come up to Katoomba! :)
