About the host
Hosted by Emma Hurst
We, The Cornish Holiday Company, have much pleasure in hosting this delightful property for the owners. Being a locally based company we are always on hand should guests require anything during their stay.
Why they chose this property
This area is such a great location as it is in between the south and north coastlines. It is central for getting around and discovering Cornwall and is close to the next town of Wadebridge. If guests are feeling energetic they can hire bikes and cycle from Bodmin to Wadebridge and even on to Padstow too. If you are looking for some local Cornish history, the newly renovated Bodmin Jail is a great place to start. The jail was built in 1779 and, after years of sitting derelict, it has recently been transformed into a luxurious hotel with a museum, restaurant and champagne bar all waiting to be enjoyed.
What makes this property unique
Chapel Barn is unique as it is set in a peaceful and idyllic position in Bodmin. It offers a nearby annex if guests wish to travel with family or friends but prefer their own separate accommodation.
