There is further parking on the roadside as well.
On the ground floor there is a utility room with storage for boots and coats, and a kitchen/dining room equipped with all the equipment you should need for your stay. The sitting room has a cosy, homely atmosphere, with the roaring log fire burner creating a warm ambience; put your feet up and watch your favourite shows on the TV. If you are feeling brave, there is a designated swimming spot just along the river. The water is cold! A short drive will take you to the Monsal Trail, High Peak Trail or Tissington Trail. Nearby is Haddon Hall and the stately home of Chatsworth House, which both host tours and events or allow walks around their beautiful gardens. Explore the local towns of Bakewell, Buxton, Matlock or Ashbourne which all boast their own individual personalities, but all have great parks too.
