The property is placed on a quiet walkway in Historic Ludlow. The house offers welcoming and comfortable accommodation over four floors and is bursting with charm and character from exposed beams to original oak flooring. This is a great base within walking distance of an array of restaurants, cafes, pubs, boutique shops, and the historic castle.
Walking in the front door there is space to hang coats and kick off your shoes. The ground floor has an open plan sitting / dining room flooded with natural light through the original sash windows looking out onto the large garden. The sitting area with its comfy sofa and chairs is the perfect spot to relax and read or watch TV in front of the open fire. A beautifully crafted wooden staircase takes you down to a well-equipped kitchen with double doors out to the garden. A breakfast bar with two stools perfectly positioned to enjoy watching the designated cook whip up a feast from the lovely local produce you’ve picked up that day while enjoying a pre-dinner drink. Wooden stairs lead from the dining area up to the first floor with a large comfortable double bedroom and a lovely bathroom where you can enjoy a candlelit bath in a freestanding bathtub. Heading up to the second floor is a double bedroom and ensuite shower room with gorgeous, high exposed beams and charming rooftop views across to Whitcliffe Common.
Outside there is an enclosed garden perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or sundowner. The garden enjoys sun all day long and is ideal for your pooch. There are two terraces with garden furniture and a BBQ ideal for alfresco dining.
Ludlow was described by Poet Sir John Betjeman as "probably the loveliest town in England". Sheltered by Mortimer Forest and the Clee Hills, the town is filled with a wide variety of listed buildings that meander alongside the banks of the beautiful river Teme.
