Welcome to Jennie’s House in Sarlat!

Nestled in a peaceful, wooded area, our carefully renovated Périgord house offers you a stay of charm and tranquility just 10 minutes by car from the historic center of Sarlat. You can take advantage of the proximity of Sarlat while benefiting from a green and quiet setting, with private parking available on site for worry-free parking. La Maison de Jennie can accommodate 6 people in 3 comfortable bedrooms, and has two armchairs that can be converted into extra beds for two additional people.

Welcome to Jennie’s House in Sarlat!

Nestled in a peaceful, wooded area, our carefully renovated Périgord house offers you a stay of charm and tranquility just 10 minutes by car from the historic center of Sarlat. You can take advantage of the proximity to Sarlat while enjoying a green and quiet setting, with private parking available on site for worry-free parking. La Maison de Jennie can accommodate 6 people in 3 comfortable bedrooms, and has two armchairs that can be converted into extra beds for two additional people.

From mid-April to the end of September, take advantage of the infrastructures of the Le Montant campsite, located just 1 km from the house (2 minutes by car). You will have access to:

•A covered and heated swimming pool

•An infinity pool

•A paddling pool for children

•A covered and heated jacuzzi

•A heated paddling pool for babies (open at the beginning of April)

•A heated jacuzzi (open at the beginning of April)

•3-lane water slides (opening mid-June)

•A pétanque area

Peace and quiet

Home away from home, out of the hustle and bustle of Sarlat-la-Canéda but close enough for a short trip into town, being able to use local camp site facilities a bonus with a wonderful pool and restaurant/bar facilities.

Absolutely Perfect

For our stay, we, Francophiles, wanted, French, rustic setting, peace and quiet in a clean house, yet close to a town.. The excellent description on VRBO allowed us to imagine this property would provide it all. The property was as described. We had excellent, friendly help from the host who kept in touch throughout our stay to ensure all was well. We are going to mention the "towels and tea-towels". We have travelled the world, staying in self-catering accommodation. Never, ever, in any of these properties have we had to hire towels. All right, only €12, but the accommodation is not cheap at €2000 for ours stay, the €12 is nitpicking and could easily be absorbed in the costs so as not to expose the nitpicking. There was also no tea-towel in the kitchen, we had to buy our own. Again, not a big expense but is a detail missing from an otherwise truly lovely place. If you are reading reviews to help you to decide what property to select and you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. 8 minutes by car from Sarlat, bird song and breeze in the trees are the only sounds, so that deer appear in the garden. Highly recommended.

On a un peu cherché la maison,mais l'hote nous a guidés par téléphone..On a beaucoup apprécié, la maison, la propreté, la climatisation...et surtout de voir les chevreuils le soir, dans les champs autour du gîte...Je recommande cette location...

Endroit vraiment très agréable et calme .

La maison en elle même est magnifique, superbe longère retapée avec goût, une cuisine super équipée avec de l’électroménager de qualité, le terrain lui méritait un entretien un peu plus poussé, pelouse tondue au tour de la maison serait sympa !Les biches à l’orée du bois au petit matin est vraiment un plus.Voilà nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette belle demeure typique du Périgord.
