Disliked: Cleanliness
We had a mixed experience during our three-night stay. On the positive side, the staff were the highlight of our trip. From the cleaning team to the restaurant and pub staff, and even the security, everyone was incredibly friendly and chatty, which we really appreciated. The location was also convenient for visiting local shops and restaurants.
However, there were several issues that made our stay uncomfortable. I barely slept because the gas bottle attached to the caravan was extremely noisy. The maintenance and cleanliness were also disappointing; there was a massive hole in our duvet cover, and the silicone around the basins and shower was in poor condition and needs replacing.
We were also let down by the on-site dining and facilities. The food was expensive with limited choices, and the onion rings were poor—soggy on the outside with onion so hard you couldn't bite through it. Furthermore, we never got to use the indoor pool as it was never available. While we visited Kent because we had never been to the area before, based on this experience, we wouldn't want to come back here again. Overall, it was a disappointing stay despite the lovely staff.
