Madrid Stay

We have never been to Madrid. The location was very convenient since so many places were in walking distance. Relatively quiet neighborhood. Important to have internet access to unlock the door. Couldn't upload photos. We enjoyed our stay with friends who came from Japan. We are from USA.

Beware - wrong location on map

The apartment is exactly as it looks on the listing, very clean, modern, nice. BUT it is not where the map showed. It is 300m down Lavapies, it's a ground floor unit with no windows and only two doors that open on the street. When I made contact with them getting there, they answered saying they would change the location on the map, thanking me for the input. If you rent through them, I advise to get all the details before paying. I was also told that after booking I should have emailed them to ask for details, which is ridiculous. What's the point of booking on a safe site if the listings aren't correct, and if a user has to check that the listings are actually accurate? I would never have booked if I knew it was where it is.
