Great stay at this very nice accommodation. Communication was easy and effective, Silvia a truly welcoming presence. Location in Trastevere will allow you to feel like a local. Bed is ridiculously comfortable. We are also big fans of SMEG (stay here and you'll get it!). Bonus traveler tip--life is too short to eat substandard gelato. Go straight to Fior di Luna or Fatamorgana, both an easy stroll from this lovely property, which comes with our enthusiastic recommendation.

Great stay at a lovely apartment

Our family loved the location of this apartment. It’s in Trastevere, close to everything but quiet and private. The rooftop terrace is amazing and Silvia was wonderful. We miss Rome already!

Rosanne and Silvia ( daughter) were fantastic. Very quick to respond when we had questions about the area, best local transportation options, dining, etc.The apartment is close to everything we wanted to see, either by walking or catching a local bus/tram. ( Silvia told us which ones to take depending on our destination.) Trestavere is a never ending labyrinth of cobbled streets and alleyways, easy to walk and explore. The Jewish Ghetto is just across the river ( the pedestrian bridge is at Hemp Square) and is another great area to explore. So the apartment’s location is ideal.The apartment is very clean, with a well equipped kitchen. The shower is small ( compared to USA standards) but not something to keep anyone from staying here. The rooftop is shared with the other apartments, ( we never had anyone else up there when we sat around sundown), just something to be aware.Ciao

Got charged extra 20 euro for checking in. There were ants all over the apartment. It was nice but not worth how expensive it was.

Thank you, Mattie, for your feedback. The €20 extra charge for check-in applies to arrivals after 8:00 PM and is clearly stated in the house rules prior to booking. Regarding the ants, we’re sorry for the inconvenience. However, we only received your message the evening before check-out. The following day we carried out a thorough inspection and cleaning and did not find any trace of them. We would have been happy to address the issue immediately if we had been informed earlier during your stay. Thank you again for staying with us.

Best apartment, fantastic hosts

This was our second stay here and location, apartment quality and and communication was as fantastic as the first. Rosanna and Luigi go above and beyond expectations as hosts. Airline lost my bag and they were so helpful in liaising with delivery couriers for it's return and booking transport for us from and to the airport.

Check in and check out was a breeze. Great communication from the host. The apartment itself it in a safe area with lots of great dining and tourist shopping nearby. A short walk brings you to public transportation options, and several train stations are a short bus ride away. The farmers market 2 blocks down was the best place to get fresh fruits and produce. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water. It was a little noisy in the early evening, but by midnight it was quiet. The rooftop terrace is a wonderful place to view Rome at night. I would highly recommend staying here.

A wonderful, well appointed apartment in a great location. Close to all the tourist sites but away from the bulk of the crowds. An adjacent piazza with fresh food market including fruit, vegetables, cold meats, cheese and fresh fish as well as a nearby supermarket. Great local restaurants too. Rosanna and Luigi are fantastic hosts. Prompt communication and willing to help with any requests. Thank you both.
