This was a great jumping off point for day trips to Edinburgh. It is walking distance to a grocery store (Aldi for the win!), which makes meals super easy here. We stayed here with 4 adults and a teen, and there was space for all. It was about a 30 minute drive to downtown Edinburgh, and was a good option for anyone wanting to see the city while also not staying in the city proper. We had a rental van and had no issue with parking. Great place!

This booking was cancelled on the day of our arrival because the cleaners found Bed Bugs during the pre arrival cleaning. We were advised by WhatsApp message while travelling from Ireland to Scotland.No attempt was made to offer alternatives and we were left to find our own alternative accomodation. The accomodation was offered by Caledonia Luxe Stays. This was Second time a timeshare from them had been cancelled. We had choosen this one after another property in Livingston had been cancelled just a week or so before we left to travel.While they eventually provided a full refund their communication regarding it was at best ambiguous.Totally glad we didn't stay in a place with bed bugs but the company could have handled it much better.
