Spanning three floors, this property has also been recently renovated, offering a delightful blend of historic charm and modern comfort. Be greeted by a modern kitchen and open-plan dining area, complete with a feature fireplace. The kitchen is split over 2 levels and is accessed from the dining area on a third lower level. Adjacent is the living room, and where another feature fireplace adds to the room’s character. Venture up to the second floor, you’ll find a bunk bedroom and a single bed. The family bathroom on this floor features a corner bath with a shower. You’ll also find a washing machine neatly tucked away in a cupboard. You can also access the private roof terrace from here via built in steps. Continue further up the winding stairway to master bedroom with a king-size bed.
The Wee House is steeped in history featuring many original features and has been modernised to ensure a comfortable stay. The cottage is perfectly located with a pub just 120 metres, two grocery shops within 150 metres and West Looe Quayside just 200 metres.
A short walk over the bridge takes you into East Looe’s cobbled streets with an abundance of restaurants, pubs and artisan shops. The town also offers a stunning beach popular with families due to its sheltered location and shallow water, or you can enjoy one of the many boat trips from the harbour.
There are many attractions within easy reach of Looe such as Portfell Wildlife Park, The Adrenalin Quarry, The Monkey Sanctuary, The Eden Project and many National Trust properties. The southwest coast path is easily accessible from the house giving you access to the stunning coastline of South Cornwall.
The railway station is just across the river in East Looe where you can take the Looe Vally Line to Liskeard, there is also a very good bus service meaning a car is not necessary.
The Wee House offers a charming, historic escape, the perfect coastal retreat.
