About this property
Arlington House - sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms
Grand elegance welcomes you at Arlington House as you pass through the iron gates. A glorious expanse of lawn and pretty wildflowers lead you to the Cotswold stone entrance of this fine house where you are whisked away to a world of quintessential village life.
Each room is bathed in light and have fabulous views to the garden making this a peaceful and comfortable place to spend time. Gathering with friends and family there is more than enough space for meals together which can be served through the fun kitchen hatch to the dining room, or al fresco in the perfectly manicured gardens. Sink into comfort putting your feet up for a film night and get the board games out for competitions long into the evening beside the fire. If you need a moment for yourself, take a bubble bath or escape to a quiet corner of the snug with one of the many novels to be found.
Outside, the manicured gardens are a display of love with carefully cared for flowering borders and an enviable lawn. Everything has been thought of with comfortable seating for the morning papers with a cup of coffee and a dining table for more refined meals. Take the dogs for walks along the River Eye which runs peacefully through the village and dine at the exquisite Slaughters Country Inn just around the corner. All you need is here, and the exceptional Cotswold locations of Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold are your neighbours.
