close to the supermarket ,2 minutes away bankend is a ex quarrymans cottage situated in a rural position down a small country lane with unspoiled mountain views 1.5 miles from st bees beach The start of the Wainwright coast to coast walk great also for cycling and hiking Easy distance to scarfell pike .Wasdale 23km away and Enerdale less than 5 minutes drive , Keswick is 45 minutes away with easy access to derwent water and other popular fells Whinlatter forest park is 40km from bankend and cat bells 49km away . Muncaster castle is 24km away cockermouth has lovely boutique type shops and great local produce a great car boot on sundays and a auction on thursdays Newcastle airport 159 km from the property and by train Whitehaven train station in the local town there is also a Enterprise car rental
