We stayed in the house for a long weekend, a family gathering for a special birthday. Perfect location for the occasion. Interesting house, everything we needed in the kitchen for a big birthday meal. Very convenient having a room for adults (with big TV) and separate room for children. Lovely location, we enjoyed our evening walks from the house. A very enjoyable stay, thank you Helen

The house was wonderful and provided great accommodation for our party ranging from 8 years to 84 years and 3 dogs. The local Turfcutters arms pub was exceptional and served up a fantastic meal catering for gluten free and dairy free diets and fingering up a special pudding too! The staff were excellent. It’s a great place to explore local attractions including the local beaches, Beaulieu, Buckler’s Hard, Lymington, Brockenhurst and the Isle of Wight. There are great dog walks on your doorstep and more slightly further afield to add variety. The kitchen was well-stocked and was a great place to prep, cook and entertain. Absolutely wonderful and we’ll be sure to return. Very highly recommend this place :-)

We went away for a long weekend as a family to celebrate my 70th birthday, and the house was just a perfect place to be. Plenty of space for 2 little girls to run around in, toys provided that they could use, games in cupboards, plenty of glasses, cutlery, crockery, chairs, garden furniture etc. There was plenty of space for us all to relax and chat. And an AGA to keep the kitchen warm and cosy is a bonus.Helen answered my questions straight away and was always extremely helpful.
