Pros: I highly recommend this apartment for 1 to 2 couples or for a family. The apartment was as described and was perfectly located with many museums, shopping and cultural things to see within walking distance. It is in a very hip, young, lively neighborhood. It was large for most French apartments with everything that you would need for a long stay. I was alone for part of the time and felt very safe. A plus is that it had an elevator. The view of the National Archives right outside the living room, kitchen and bedroom was lovely. There is a beautiful garden in the National Archives that you can go and sit for some down time outside, for free. During hot days, I opened the window of the 2nd bedroom that overlooks the courtyard and set one of the fans in the doorway to cool off the apartment.Cons: The kitchen was very small with no microwave and the table and chairs in the kitchen were not comfortable. The apartment was peaceful, but if you have the windows open, the noise from the street, bars & restaurants nearby was loud, sometimes until 2 AM.
