This very spacious 1050 sq ft Paradise hideaway is west of Tamiami Trail on a canopied street. Step into comfort and convenience of this beautifully appointed 2 bedroom upstairs apartment just minutes away from top attractions, dining, and entertainment. This cozy escape offers the perfect home base for your adventures whether you’re here for relaxation or to explore all the area has to offer, You’ll appreciate the prime location and thoughtful amenities that make this apartment the perfect choice for your stay We also have on site laundry for your convience.
This private vacation apartment is immaculate. A short drive to Sarasota's most desired locations, Siesta Key Beach(3.5 mi) Lido Beach (2.5 mi), and a short walk to Bay Front Park, Selby Gardens, Down Town, South Side Village, (has everything, best restaurants, sports bars, night clubs). All of this is just a 1/3 mile or less from the apartment. The NEST is a short 30 min. drive from IMG Academy. Tennis and golf are all very close. Off-street parking in front of the entrance. The apartment is a separate unit of the owner's complex. Everyone loves the apartment and so will you. The Master Bed Room has king size bed with Tuft and Needle mattress. (The best) and is equipped with a small office. 2nd Bed Room has a queen sized bed and is a very large room with a small office area.
Fully equipped kitchen. Great Rm has a 48" wall-mounted Samsung Smart TV with all channels, Netflix and over 100 chanles, Hi-Speed Wi-Fi throughout. Central air and ceiling fans in every room for your comfort. An outdoor patio for your enjoyment. We have all necessary equipment for Beach visits,(Chairs, Umbrellas, and a wagon to carry coolers etc.) The city offers rental electric bikes, and Legacy nature trail (20 mi of trail) for biking or walking in nature.

Best vacation rental ever

A charming, comfortable flat in a lovely neighborhood that is close to downtown Sarasota and the beaches. The hosts are a charming couple who have thought through every little detail to ensure that all your needs are met throughout your stay. We will be returning.

Great spot!

We enjoyed our stay at the Nest! Location was ideal; nice neighborhood - walking distance to bay front and some great restaurants and Morton’s Market in Southside. Clean, spacious bedrooms, lots of beach gear (no bikes currently). Short drive to Siesta Key and St Armand’s. Pat and Joe were lovely hosts and we hope to return!

The Nest is best.

We were more than happy with the hospitality we received from Joe and Pat. Their place is close to everything and so clean. The owners are very helpful with everything from grocery stores to restaurants. We will definitely be back to the Nest.

The perfect place in the perfect location!

This cute little apartment had everything we needed for our short girls' getaway! Beach towels, beach chairs, cooler and a Keurig too! Pat and Joe are the most gracious hosts and provided a ton of info on all the local places. They even brought us drinks when we arrived! So special!! We had a fantastic time and will definitely book again when in the area.

Winter get away

We have not traveled for so long. So coming to Sarasota for two weeks was a good choice.. Our apartment was perfect with good living space and comfortable beds. But the best part was getting to know our hosts . We look forward to a trip next year and recommend the location as well as accommodations. Walking distance to South Village and a short drive to Main Street downtown. We frequented a French restaurant there C’est La Vie. Chocolate eclairs and champagne on our last afternoon. Our stay at the Nest

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "The Nest". Pat and Joe met us at our agreed upon check in time and gave us a quick, yet thorough tour of the property. It was exactly as described, and more.We were in town to visit my parents who live in Sarasota and celebrate my 60th birthday. The location was perfect for everything we had planned. We had wonderful time and the weather was perfect. We would definitely book another stay when we visit again.Thank you once again!

The Local Experience

It was a wonderful and peaceful end to a day of adventuring. One of the best parts was how centrally located to everything The Nest was! Everything you could want to do on a Florida vacation was a short car ride away. Would definitely stay here again the next time I come down to Sarasota!

Sarasota trip

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts are very friendly and easy to communicate with. The place was very clean, well stocked, and quiet. Several good restaurants within walking distance. We loved having a nice cool place to relax after being out in the heat at the rowing national regatta. We would definitely stay here again when in this area.

The Nest is a great place to stay

Joe and Pat have a nice cozy place with easy access to Sarasota downtown. It's quiet, has great AC, comfy beds, and is nicely appointed. I will stay there again when in Sarasota!

Fl Getaway

Place is fantastic, super large bedroom, large living area with comfortable furniture. Pat and Joe are naturals as hostess and keep the apartment supplied with the basic necessities to start your vacation. They are very friendly and do everything they can to provide for your comfort. The location is FANTASTIC- close to beaches, the Marina, downtown Sarasota , restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend renting here. Susan and Bob Murray

The 50+ Spring Break Girls Trip

Pat and Joe were fantastic hosts! Everything you could think of was supplied. If we had questions or needed an item, we received immediate responses. They gave great suggestions on were to go, what to do and where to eat. The property is in a great location. I'm keeping this property in my favorites. Hope to return with my husband one day.

Great holiday rental

Not knowing Sarasota myself (although my husband had visited 25 years previously) when searching for a rental for a month's stay I had no idea of where to look in the city. I got really lucky with The Nest. Joe & Pat were fabulous hosts, very welcoming and friendly and helpful with any questions we had or with anything we needed. The facilities are great. the kitchen is equipped well, although we did very little cooking, too many places to eat out! The master bedroom has a large and comfortable bed which is always an important factor. There was lots of storage space for clothes and to put our empty cases etc. Plenty of options on the TV including Netflix and good WiFi coverage. The bikes were an added bonus which are there for use by guests. There are also beach chairs and cool boxes which are very useful. Although the house is on a relatively busy road there was very little traffic noise, it didn't bother us at all, even being light sleepers. The location however meant that it was incredibly easy to get to amenities, there is a local shopping and dining centre which is a 5 minute walk away and walking into town was equally as easy, flat route, as pretty much everywhere is, and took only around 20 minutes. We played tennis many times which located a 5 minute drive away and golf is readily available at many local courses we we also played. Overall our stay in Sarasota was highly successful and enjoyable, this essentially been down to Joe and Pat and the comfort and convenience of The Nest. We hope to be returning in the not too distant future.
