Somewhere in Time is located in one of the most desirable locations in Gatlinburg, just 1 mile from Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort & Amusement Park & 2 miles to downtown Gatlinburg & the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, all on the same road.

Somewhere in Time is a wonderful amazing original mountain chalet that has been updated & remodeled & sits high above a road that overlooks an ever-running peaceful creek across the road from which soothing sounds can be heard around the clock. A log-style porch swing & a huge log rocker are for total relaxation on the covered front deck.

The living room has a sofa sleeper w/ upgraded memory foam queen mattress, 55" TV, DVD player, movie & book library, ceiling fan & remote-operated stone fireplace to enjoy year-round, with heat for cozy mountain nights. or without heat for a romantic ambiance. An open floor plan for the kitchen & dining area allows for family gatherings & communication.

There is a landline phone in this chalet for anyone worried about not having a signal in the mountains from their cell phone.

The kitchen has updated appliances w/4-burner range, microwave w/airfryer, dishwasher & refrigerator. There is plenty of cookware & dishes & a toaster, slow cooker, George Forman grill, blender Keurig & regular coffee maker. ample space to prepare meals right in the chalet & a large log-style table with seating for 6.

The main level bedroom has a log-style queen bed, log bench, chest, 32" TV, 2 ceiling fans & full-size washer & dryer in the laundry closet. A full bath with a tub/shower combo is just across the hall.

The upstairs private queen bedroom has a 48" TV & large hall closet. The very spacious upstairs Jack n Jill bathroom allows privacy & is accessible from the bedroom or game room & has an oversized jetted tub, walk-in shower & double-sink vanity.

The open-loft-game-room area has a checkerboard table, many board games & toys to keep the kids entertained.

A 4-person year-round hot tub with a privacy screen is located just outside the front door.

Your pets & kids will be safe on the deck with a wooden gate at the top of the steps. There is a charcoal grill & picnic table on the ground level for outside grilling & dining.

Somewhere In Time is very convenient to downtown Gatlinburg & to the entrance to Great Smoky Mountain National Park, just 2 miles traveling on the same road. Or, in the opposite direction & in less than a mile away, you will dead-end into Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort. Here you can just leave your car & take the Ober Aerial Tram to downtown Gatlinburg & have magnificent bird's eye views when traveling in the glassed-in tram. It holds 120 people & leaves & returns every 20 minutes from early until late daily......what fun & convenient to avoid any traffic!

You will love the privacy & convenience of being right off easy-to-travel main roads & just minutes from all the activities, shopping, restaurants & events in Gatlinburg.

As an added location bonus, there is a market/deli that sells groceries, delicious pizzas, burgers, beer & beverages that are just steps away from the chalet. There are steps leading from the driveway down the mountainside right into their parking lot.

PET POLICY: Pets must ALWAYS BE CRATED WHEN LEFT ALONE IN THE CABIN-current on shots, flea/tick preventative & not allowed on the furniture.

Exterior security cameras overlook steps & driveway & in no way interfere with guests' privacy. No interior cameras.

To avoid the traffic & parking frustration, just drive less than a mile to Ober Gatlinburg & hop on the glassed-in Aerial Tramway that travels every 20 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg & get an amazing birds-eye view of the area. Trolleys are available in Gatlinburg.

#2 North Clubhouse...open Friday - Sunday
On the corner of Wiley Oakley & Village Loop (1151 Upper Alpine Rd) there are 3 swimming pools, 1 is 20'x40', 3'-9' deep. Others are a 20'x40' lap pool, a 3'-4' deep & kiddie pool, 2 tennis courts, lighted until 10 PM & accessible year-round, a workout room, playground, paved walking trail, ping pong table, foosball, & assorted yard games.

***North clubhouse also has a private banquet room available at an additional charge for family gatherings, meetings, wedding receptions & events!

#3 Upper Alpine Clubhouse...open Friday - Monday
Upper Alpine Road, just 1 mile off of Ski Mountain Road, features a 20x40 pool,3'-8 1/2' deep with pool decks, plenty of shade & sunshine, ski slopes view. Also, a wading pool just deep enough for little ones with a cascading rain-drop umbrella & a kid's playground add to the fun. Also, the workout room, and game room with a pool table, foosball, and game table for chess, checkers & other board games.

Chalet Village Owner's Clubs are private facilities established to offer many benefits exclusive to property owners & their vacation rental guests. Your provided pass will be hanging by the front door just inside the cabin to present when entering these facilities. Please rehang after use for the next guest. All facilities have snack & drink machines. You may also bring your own food & drinks. Facilities are OPEN 9 AM to 9 PM FROM MEMORIAL DAY THRU LABOR DAY. South Baden pool will remain open daily into September if usage & weather permitting. Tennis courts are open all year. Always contact the facility before going as their weekly day of maintenance may vary.

OBER AERIAL TRAMWAY takes you on a birds-eye view ride 2.1 miles to downtown Gatlinburg from a high point of 2813 feet above sea level … a full 1000 feet higher than any other cable lift in the entire state of TN. Two glassed-in 120-passenger counter-balanced cars provide an amazing aerial experience for all ages. The highest point off the ground, during the Tram ride is about 300 feet!

OBER ICE SKATING at our 140′ X 75′ indoor ice arena is the centerpiece of Ober Mountain’s enclosed mall rink and is great for beginner and professional skaters, open year.

OBER ICE BUMPER CARS is where to go hit the ice but have no athletic ability, take a seat in one of our new Ice Bumper Cars!
