About this property
Luxury Hastings Apartment
Bright, super-stylish Hastings West Hill flat in a peaceful, convenient location. Old Town, beaches and shopping centre are walking distance, or stroll along the prom to St Leonards.
Recently refurbished, there's one double bedroom with balcony and views to the sea, a cosy single room and double sofa bed in the open-plan living room.
A perfect base to explore historical 1066 towns and landmarks as well as beautiful countryside and vineyards, there is free on-street parking outside the flat.
The space
There is a large open-plan living room with two comfy velvet sofas (one a sofa bed for extra guest/s) and a large smart TV. Fast broadband.
An island with elegant bar-seats is perfect for any meal.
The kitchen is well-equipped and has a dishwasher and washing machine.
Huge bay windows look out onto a little green and trees.
The double bedroom is spacious with built-in wardrobes, floor-to-ceiling windows leading to balcony and magnificent views over the rooftops to the sea.
The single room is super-cosy, with built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers.
The bathroom is elegant with feature illuminated mirror. A glass cubicle houses the shower.
From the flat you can walk over the West Hill to Hastings Old Town with its historic fishing beach and museum, wonderful indie and antique shops, great bars and restaurants and the Hastings Contemporary art gallery.
You can also walk to the shopping centre while trendy St Leonards - with its Kino-Teatr and The Piper venues (to name just two) offering a variety of entertainment including the latest movies and live music - is a healthy seaside stroll along the promenade. Check out the award-winning, modern pier en route.
There is on-street parking outside the flat and bus stop just around the corner. The station is walkable or call one of the fast and reliable local cab companies.
Cycling is wonderful here with a dedicated cycling lane all along the prom, which continues by the sea all the way to Bexhill, home to the motor museum and world-class venue and art gallery, the Delaware Pavilion.
The area is leafy and peaceful.
East Sussex and Kent are full of historical sites of interest (associated with 1066 and lots of castles!), beautiful landscapes and... vineyards! Kent and Sussex rival the champagne area of France for sparkling white wines - the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge served Chapel Down (Kent) methode-champagnoise (they have to call it 'sparkling wine) at their wedding.
So... you won't be bored!
