Perfect place for a family getaway. The house was clean and tidy and our host, Christine, replied to our questions very quickly and she made sure we had everything we needed. The listing was very accurate except it was actually nicer than the photos showed. We would definitely stay again in the future.

nice beach house

we really enjoyed our stay. the house was well located, walking distance from the beach. We were a group of ten and the sleep arrangements were perfect. Overall, a really great stay!

Very clean and spacious - loved the side deck and table. We love walking in Maine so getting to the beach was no problem and the week we went had plenty of parking. If you are travelling with someone with mobility issues you should know that the shower with bench is preformed but a portable bench will fit if needed -- also, it is a step down to each of the decks.

Thank you for a great stay

Celebrated my 40th birthday here and it was a wonderful location. The property is great for families traveling together as they all have their own separate space and patios. The location makes travel to wells, york, ogunquit and kennebunkport very easy. Highly recommend.

Nice, relaxing stay in a fantastic location

Great home in a wonderful location! Very comfortable and had all of the amenities that we needed for our stay. The beach is just a short walk from the house, which the entire family loved! Christine was easy to contact and was a great host. Highly recommended!

Christine is the most gracious host. Her communication is spot on and the house is as described. It is a bright lovely home with ample space and parking. There are games, books, plenty of utensils and kitchen items. We were able to get a few veggies from the garden. Such a welcoming treat! Having the washer and dryer available are a huge bonus! Would recommend this house for your next relaxing get away!

Beautiful property with excellent location. The house is very spacious and has more than enough room for a big family. We had a 3 year old and 1.5 year old with us and the layout was very child friendly as well. The hosts were very kind and quick to respond to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Great family vacation!

The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We were two families staying there and had plenty of space. It was in a wonderful neighborhood and a quick walk to the beach. The location was perfect right in the middle of everything with quick rides to the beach, restaurants, shops and the grocery store. The description of the house was accurate and communication was great! We had an amazing stay and would do it again.

Very nice spot!

We loved it! Half mile to the left Scoop Deck Ice Cream. Half mile to the right the beach. Parked the cars and rode bikes all week.

Great property, house beautiful. Wonderful for families extra large family room. Absolutely amazing outdoor spaces. Close to beach great places for walks. Perfect rental property for large family

We just got home from our week's stay here. The house was great for my husband, our 3 kids, and my sister and brother in law to stay at for our vacation. The owners have thought about everything you might need while you stay at their house. Very spacious house which comes in handy in case of unpleasant weather. Great location for the beach and ice cream. Thank you for providing the perfect rental house for our first vacation in over 5 years!

Family reunion turned vaca

We’ve stayed on the Rte 1 stretch for 6 years now. First time renting a single family home. Plenty of space to hang out comfortably and such a great location! We had everything we needed….. Michael and Christine have a lovely home and were excellent hosts! Love being able to check in on Friday!

Vacation by the Beach

This was our first VRBO rental and we were so happy with our experience. The house is beautiful - very clean and organized. Christine ( our host) thought of everything - right down to Aloe in case of too much sun! The house is a short walk to the beach in one direction and a short walk to grab an Ice Cream in another. The neighborhood is great. Overall wonderful!!!

Another wonderful visit!

This was our third year in a row returning to Christine’s property in Wells, and like the two previous summers, we had a wonderful stay. The house is beautifully appointed and well-maintained. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is perfect, on a quiet street and with easy access to much that the area has to offer. Christine does a wonderful job keeping in touch and making us feel welcome. Little wonder we keep coming back!

Another wonderful stay

Based on our experience last year, we came back to the cottage this summer for another two-week stay. The house is a perfect spot for our multi-generational gathering: spacious and comfortable with lots of natural light and multiple outdoor decks. Very clean and well equipped. An easy drive to lots of destination spots plus walking distance to the water. Christine is super attentive and easy to work with. So glad we found this place!

Great family vacation home!

Very spacious home with plenty of room for 3 separate families. All bedrooms are good sized with plenty of space. We had littles one with us and were very happy to see toys there for them. Short walk to the water/beach area. Lots of outside seating with the 2 decks. Overall it was a great stay and provided us with everything needed. Christine was very easy to reach and very responsive. We will definitely be back!

Cozy, comfortable, attractive home.

Our 3 generations, 6 adults, 4 children 2-9, enjoyed our stay. The lovely decor welcomed us. The large LR was a wonderful gathering place, with comfortable furniture. The kitchen accommodated us comfortably, using 1 extra chair. We had everything we needed for meal prep. Beds were comfy, although the sleeper sofa was as expected. Although the yard is small, the kids used some outdoor toys; the 2 decks are great. Driveway is designed for 2 cars;we pulled in tight to squeeze 3. We enjoyed nearby Crescent Beach; drove as the 1/2 mile was too much for the little ones. Easy walk to Scoop Deck Ice Cream. Found much to do in the area. Owner, Christine, was very responsive to questions and so helpful. Everyone dreams of a return trip!

Great location and beautiful house

We had a wonderful stay . The owner was very helpful and prompt with whatever questions I had. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed.There was enough space for all 6 of us adults. It was a close drive to the beach, grocery store and Ice cream . There were small extras. There was a small garden our back with fresh vegetables and herbs that were delicious.There were beautiful flowers out front that we could pick and bring in to enjoy for the week. We would definitely come back . Thank you

My husband and I purchased this home in September and I have always loved the ocean. We both grew up in Western MA. We have 6 children and at the present time we have 10 grandchild and the family is still growing.

Why they chose this property

I have always wanted a home near the ocean, still having a few years before retirement we purchased the house with retirement in mind so we will take more time to spend with family. We want others to love this home as there vacationing spot and build memories with their families for years to come as we will also.

What makes this property unique

I knew this house was the one when I walked in the front door it was home. The skylights made the sun come through and I could see the sun rays on the floor. I also loved the kitchen because I love to cook, with four porches off the house so everyone can have there space if someone wants to read or have conversation and cocktails there is plenty of room for everyone!
