Just steps away from the sand, Bonnie Dune boasts soothing Atlantic seascapes and alluring sunsets. Situated in the award-winning community of Flora's Bluff, this two-bedroom/2.5-bath oceanfront cottage beckons you to relax to ocean lullabies on its covered porch swing, dine alfresco-style on the screened porch and enjoy BHI's South Beach via a private beach boardwalk and access. Inside you'll appreciate the open living space featuring hardwood floors, bright, natural light and a mounted 65 inch flat screen smart TV. The nearby dining area boasts a table that easily accommodates six and the adjacent kitchen gleams with quartz countertops, wine fridge, bar seating, and loads of counter space. There's also a bonus sunroom with an additional 50-inch smart TV that is the perfect spot for movies, cozy conversations or a quick nap.

Upstairs the Owner's Suite features a King bed, a spa-like bath and a private balcony with breathtaking ocean views-an ideal place for morning coffee, dolphin watching or late night stargazing. The second suite offers two Queen beds and a private full bath. Bonnie Dune's additional amenities include: WIFI, a Bluetooth home stereo system, games and reading library, beach chairs/beach umbrella, outdoor shower, outdoor gas grill, fenced backyard and a six-passenger golf cart. Convenient access to WWP's 24/7 Property Manager Assistance so that you can reach needed help even after hours or on weekends. One dog allowed (unless pre-approval granted) for a required additional non-refundable $300 fee. This property does not provide bicycles however they can be rented on the island. For a memorable island retreat-come stay at Bonnie Dune. Make sure to get your booking in ASAP as this home fills quickly!

As such, all arrangements for temporary memberships must be handled by renters directly with the Clubs. Renters are strongly encouraged to make desired reservations with the club immediately upon booking, and also to become familiar with club policies, procedures, and schedules. WWP representatives will not be able to answer most club-related questions.

Wonderful time at Bonnie Dune!

We loved the proximity to the ocean- a boardwalk right in front of the house! The views from upstairs porch were lovely and we had coffee there each day. The golf cart was well maintained and very nice. The house was very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, and well-stocked. A lot of restaurants change hours after Labor Day so be sure to check the days and times if you come after Labor Day. We had great meals at The Shoals club! Thank you for having a lovely pet-friendly rental! We had a blast!!

We loved the quaintness of Bonnie Dune, from the moment we walked in we felt relaxed & ready to unwind! Every day we alternated beach & BHI club pool and the convenience & proximity of both made our entire trip so seamless. We made sure to climb Old Baldy, watch the Herons roost (so magical!), catch almost every sunset, and Jonathan even participated in the weekly 5K race! We loved our stay on BHI and can’t wait to visit Bonnie Dune again! (P.S. The balcony porch was an amazing spot to paint… I am an artist and it could not have been a more picturesque setting!) Thank you!

The decor was welcoming, beachy, comfortable, and perfectly coordinated. The house was well stocked with kitchen supplies, books, games, and beach chairs and toys. The best views were from the master bedroom balcony on the second floor because the dunes are high. We enjoyed eating out on the screened porch on the first floor. We appreciated having access to both clubs and the fact that they were equidistant from the house. It was also nice being so close to the market. The golf cart was great; although we wished it had had rain protection while we weathered Tropical Storm Debby! Needless to say, it wasn't ideal vacationing during a tropical storm, but this home was so lovely that it made everything okay!

Bald Head vacation

Wonderful stay at Bonnie's Dune! The house is perfect for a small family or a few friends. Right on the beach, great upper and lower porches, and a nice back yard with a grill. When I return to BHI, I plan to stay there again.

We have been coming down to BHI for 15 years. This was our first stay at Bonnie Dune and it was delightful. House was super convenient to all spots on the island. Lovely inside and our English bulldog Mabel had a blast. We will definitely come back those years our extended family doesn’t come down and we need a smaller place :)

The only way to describe our trip was— magical. Every aspect from the booking process with Wendy Wilmot to our stay proved beyond exceptional. The VIEWS. The BEACH. And the home, which was truly a home in every way. There are even games and puzzles provided for kids and people of all ages, which my little ones loved playing/completing with us. Kathy and Scott, the owners, were beyond helpful and kind and gracious. when there was an error with our family’s tram reservation Scott went out of his way to make even our departure possible when anyone else would have likely left us to figure it out ourselves. We cannot wait for our next stay! Dreaming of it and planning it even now!
