Tucked away in the peaceful village of Healaugh, just a mile from the bustling centre of Reeth, this charming stone-built cottage is the perfect retreat for couples seeking a relaxing break in the Yorkshire Dales.

Adjacent is a dining table for intimate meals together. The country-style kitchen is well equipped. Step straight from the doorstep onto riverside footpaths and rolling hill trails, with plenty of opportunities to spot local wildlife and enjoy the ever-changing landscapes. Just a short stroll or a quick drive brings you to the village of Reeth, known as the ‘capital of Swaledale’, where you’ll find traditional pubs, cafés, galleries, post office clustered around a pretty village green with a weekly market. Being in the Yorkshire Dales National Park is the perfect base. Historic Richmond, with its impressive castle, theatre, and cobbled marketplace, is within easy reach, while the picturesque towns of Leyburn and Hawes are ideal for a leisurely day out, brimming with local produce, markets, and cosy tearooms.

The surrounding countryside is dotted with waterfalls, such as the famous Aysgarth Falls and Hardraw Force, both within driving distance and well worth a visit.
