Urgent: Harassment, off-platform extortion, and false accusations by the host I am writing to report unacceptable behavior, harassment, and off-platform financial demands by the host of our recent stay Upon checking out, we fully complied with the house rules: we cleaned the property, took out the trash, turned off all lights, and returned the key as instructed.Shortly after leaving, the host began sending hostile and offensive messages directly to my personal WhatsApp. In these messages, the host:Insulted my family in a hysterical manner and made inappropriate personal attacks regarding my children.Falsely claimed we damaged the house and left items missing, without providing any proof.Unreasonably demanded 400 to be paid directly to her outside of the VRBO platform.We feel harassed and unsafe with this off-platform communication and direct extortion. We have strictly followed all VRBO guidelines, and we refuse to engage in off-platform payment demands.The place is nice and beatiful, though there' s no hot water in the shower, the doors are hard to open, keys stuck( it didn t really bother us) but the most important thing- if you don t want to be attacked and insulted without any reason our recommendation:don' t take it.
