Awesome stay right on the beach. Perfect spot for relaxing and hanging on the porch. We explored downtown folly and downtown Charleston. Keep in mind it isn’t walking distance but was able to get Ubers when we needed. Thanks for the great stay would recommend to anyone!

Nice beachfront stay

Loved the screen porch and the closeness of the ocean. Pictures are accurate and all was clean and comfortable. It would be nice if they put an instruction book for tv, etc. great stay!

Perfect Spring Break Vacation

The property was right on the beach so easy access for the kids and dogs to come and go as they wanted to. Everything was well stocked and being towards the end of the island, everything was quiet and perfect for the family. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 3 kids with ample space to spare. I would stay here again!

Loved staying here with adult friends!

Stayed here with 5 of my friends. We enjoyed being on the quieter end of Folly. Highlights were the view from the deck, plenty of seating for everyone to hang out in living room/dining room/deck together. If you are planning to cook, bring the essential utensils/pans/etc. We will bring more next time to be able to cook/stay in! Would love to return here!

My family and friends stayed here for 6 nights, and it was magical. Plenty of space, great layout for us, and the ocean is RIGHT THERE when you look outside. I loved how at high tide, the water comes right up to the bottom of the steps. Very special place ❤️

Very disappointed, the name is deceiving. We booked Pride & Joy for 4 nights with expectations of a nice place w/private beach access for our family of 9. Upon entering it was quite obvious some renovation was being done as there was unpainted spackling in bathrooms, closets were full of decor & in one of the bedrooms a hole in the ceiling with exposed wiring. The 2nd day water began leaking from that exposed hole in the ceiling & along the walls (extremely unsafe !!) requiring us to use pans, bowls & towels to catch the water. We contacted the property manager & the host w/NO response. The 3rd day, again we contacted the host & property manager, who then decided to have a repairman spend the better part of our evening working on the leak. On the 4th day (our last) the repairman returned again to finish. The property manager is to blame for not having the repairs & house ready for occupancy. The host has yet to reply to any messages . We have asked for a partial refund and again NO response from the host or property management. Again, so very disappointed.

Great location and ocean view! Our dog loved running on the beach. The living space was open and spacious. The updates weren’t complete yet, but the ones that were done were very nice.

Pride & Joy has a fantastic location on Folly Beach. Sadly, we had not heard from this guest during his stay about any sort of plumbing issues. We have a helpful and friendly staff on 24/7 to handle any sort of issues that may arise during a stay. If we had been given previous notice, we're confident that we would have been able to help mediate any issues that were present.

Great Place with the Beach as your Backyard!

This house has an ideal location! The interior was been redone with plenty of space for a few families to split up the house. The views are amazing! Lots of parking and paved play area for bikes and scooters under the house. The main living area is all open with bedrooms off to each side. Lots of space to stretch out. We mostly stayed on the covered porch. Highly recommend for a laid back, no frills vacation.

Great Stay

This is a great house for accommodating a large group. We ended up having only 7 guests due to flight cancellations from snow storm. The living area is large and comfortable. The porch is great but it was COLD when we were there so didn't get to enjoy it. The house needs a little TLC- 2 broken chairs at kitchen table, corroded batteries in upstairs heat/ac remote. I realize with any house, there is always something needing to be done. The appliances worked very well. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils. The property management staff were friendly and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Pride and Joy on Folly. Thanks!
